This is my favorite place to eat! You have to try their Fidelia warm chicken salad with capers and sun dried tomatoes. Seriously, I wish I could eat it every day.

Wonderful that this not a chain. Menu changes daily. You can sign up for email blast for menu of the day. Better than home cooking. They also cater,. Prepare food for pick up and can also rent out out small restaurant for abt 25. Open lunch and dinner. Fresh hydoponnic basil. Great food and cozy atmosphere. Feels like home!

I've seen some negative reviews, so I've had this spot on my wish list for a while, and I think it's worth the visit. It's cute!. I'm gonna bring my girls for lunch. The smell of deliciousness when you enter is intoxicating. And the food was delicious. With so many franchises around, it is nice to have a competing cafe around.Menu is ample. Take your time or call each morning for the updated menu.Decor is cute also, lots of art pieces for sale

Cute little space, only my lunch date and I were in the restaurant. A bit on the expensive side, however you can tell this is home cooking. The beef soup with vegetables was DELICIOUS! I have a sodium problem and this soup was not salty. Will definitely do a to-go order of the spinach artichoke dip with pita chips and beef soup soon!

What a quaint little restaurant in a small strip mall off Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud. My friend recommended it for lunch based on recommendations from her co-workers. The inside is small, but with a nostalgic feeling, coupled with friendly service and excellent food. Some of the tables and chairs go back to the 50's and 60's and the artwork and photos on the walls are a nice touch. Menus are provided when you walk in, you pick out a table, decide what you want and then go back and order at the counter. The food and drinks are then brought to your table. We tried the Monticello Crispy Potato-cake Points (potato cakes topped with crumbled bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts and your choice of cheese-we chose Bleu). They were tasty, but a little dry for me. The next appetizer was Carol's 8-Hour Mini's and they were the BOMB! We chose beef as our meat (pork is also available), and it was 4 ounces of slow-simmered pulled roast that came with a side of mini potato buns. I would DEFINITELY order this again. We finished it quickly! I saw some Yelpers recommended Auntie Fran's Lemon Rice Soup so my friend order it as a 6-ounce taster and I ordered it as an 8-ounce cup to partner with my sandwich. The broth was a family recipe which consisted of spinach and herbs in a rich chicken broth. We both poured the last bits into out spoon to finish off the entire amount; it was that good. My friend ordered the Caprese Sandwich which was "everything on the SLC Caprese Salad" but served on a croissant. It was a combination of tomatoes, spinach leaves, mozzarella, diced cucumbers, melon and sea salt cashews. The presentation was amazing (see the picture)! I ordered the Halstead Cafe Cubano sandwich (half portion) and the soup mentioned above. The Cubano was "uniquely ours" as stated on the menu, layered with their 8-hour pulled pork, a slice of black forest ham, their own Dijon ginger mustard, Swiss cheese and sliced dill pickles on grilled Cuban bread. It was as tasty as it sounds and as original as presented in the menu (see picture). The owners came by to make sure everything was to our liking and even invited us to sit and chat longer after we finished eating. The Silver Lining Cafe is a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying an excellent home cooked meal. I also recommend giving it a try like my friend's co-workers recommended to her. I'm so glad her coworkers spread the word about this restaurant experience.

Such a great little gem! We visited on a Thursday evening and there was sadly, only 1 other party. This is such a cute little place to grab a delicious bite to eat.

Sigh… probably pointless to leave this review as I’m assuming not many people will come through and eat here buuuut here goes. Not much to say. I should’ve just gone to chic fil a. Just don’t come here if you know anything about food. One word to sum up my experience with this place: MICROWAVE.

I've lived around the area for awhile but never notice this place. The restaurant owners are very hands on and friendly. Food is so fresh and the quiche is out of this world

One restaurant that I wish I could do a review without giving any stars but that is an impossibility. The Silver Lining Cafe was not a good dinning experience.I ordered the roast beef with chips and a pickle spear. The small roast beef on a roll was so salty it not edible.Everything is la Carte’ which makes for an expensive lunch, a very small portion of chips, pickle spear and the sandwich with a drink will set you back a few bucks. My overall experience was a total disappointment. If I wasn’t disappointed enough then the owners attitude comes out, he is extremely condescending with no customer service skills.I would not recommend nor would I return to The The Silver Lining Cafe.Horrible ParkingHorrible FoodHorrible ServiceWay Over PricedIf you want food with comparable type menu for a much lower price, huge portions get served with a smile and enjoy your meal please try 10th St. produce you will not be disappointed.
