My husband and I stopped by for oxtail and curry goat and we were not disappointed. I ordered the oxtail with veggies rice and peas and the flavor of the oxtail was savory and the meat was tender. The veggies were delicious with a hint of vinegar and a spice of the scotch bonnet pepper. My husband had the curry goat with yellow rice and veggies and the flavor was amazing. I had to have a taste. the meat was very tender also and perfectly seasoned. We sat outside and ate until we were stuffed. We washed our food down with jamaican ginger beer and pineapple soda. I am definitely returning to this awesome place. Not to mention, the portion for a regular size was enough for leftovers for dinner. The service here was very nice and welcoming. I'm glad we stopped in for our first visit here. I didn't know its been opened for 3 years. It was worth the 25 mins drive from Clearwater.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!I really hate to have to give less than one star. The lady at the counter was very professional and welcoming. We ordered the oxtail and stew chicken. The oxtails were almost overly salty, very dark like black, tough and seemed to be old. They tasted horrible. The stew chicken was bland with old gravy or whatever. We ordered yellow rice with it, our mistake. It had no taste, usually yellow rice has its own little hint of spice. They loaded the plate down with rice and added extra black gravy from the oxtail, another mistake. As I picked through cabbage/veggies trying to find pieces not saturated with the salty dark overwhelming gravy I had a a spoon full of veggie they were cooked and tasted ok. I just believed this place wouldn't disappoint but it was a true let down. I said maybe this was just a bad day or maybe because we came in early, and maybe give them a second chance, but to waste money on food like that is crazy. If I could I would give them the entire meal and let them re-do

I have been trying to find ox tail that reminds me of my time in the islands all over Pinellas County and this is the first time I found an ox tail dish that has the right dark rich color was tender, but still had nice texture and wasn’t greasy. Lots of great layers of flavor. Mr. Mike at Calabash is making some wonderful authentic island dishes.The curry goat was also excellent and I love the traditional sides of cabbage and rice & peas.Everything had just the right amount of spice and they even had my favorite grapefruit soda “ting”!

Stumbled upon this place while on a wait list for The Saint. I ordered the vegetarian dinner and these veggies were basically crack. Someone had to basically pull the plate out of my hands so we could make it to the reservation on time and have been thinking about them since. Perfectly cooked, delicious curry flavor, and the right amount of spice. Highly recommend.

Everyone was very happy with their meals. The women ADN gentleman working were also very kind. No seating inside, just a table outside. Had plenty of left over rice.

Food was high in sodium, we had stew and curry chicken. Ox tail was undercooked and had barbecue sauce on it. Definitely NOT authentic Jamaican cooking. Will not be revisiting.

The service was friendly and quick, we sampled the curry chicken and immediately ordered after tasting it. I recommend the oxtail or the curry chicken but SUPER flavorful. they make sure to put sauce on the rice and peas when they’re serving your meat too ? everything came out perfect, thank you !
