I read stellar reviews of this restaurant and walked from Central Avenue to get a takeout for lunch. It was a lengthy walk, but well worth it. I got the grouper and shrimp dinner, with macaroni and cheese and greens as sides. It was all delicious. There are no tables, and I think it's only open until 5:00. St. Pete is a great town, and when I come down for a visit again, I'll be sure to come back here.

This place had my mouth set up for seafood that apparently at one time was delicious , upon arriving the place was Abandoned ,when looking up recommendations or good ol mom and pop's seafood places, google or whoever need to update that the business is closed unless they lied about it being open on Saturday I was very disappointed so much for trying what residents called the Best .

They have a special way with food. The fish a mouthfuly delicious. My favorite is the wings and shrimp. They also have other items like garlic covered and lightly spicy peanuts. A must if you like boiled peanuts in the shell. Some seating outside but i believe they are adding on to accommodate. Excellent service, fried shrimp, grouper and garlic fries. The Mac n cheese is some of the best I've had. Boiled peanuts are spicy and garlicky, so good. The building is being renovated, so it's carry out only or eat at the sidewalk table for now. Don't let that deter you. It's really great food.
The best boiled peanuts hands down!! I eat here once a week everything is great made to order.
