I stopped by on a whim, but decided to get a plate of food. My first thought was, hmmm a lil pricey, but I got the lamb chops dinner since I hadnt cooked. TOTALLY worth it!! I was actually pleasantly surprised I shared it with my hubs when he got home from work. I hate that we dug into it so fast, that I didn't take a pic He really enjoyed it! The rice was amazing, and had a good flavor, the lamb chops were tender, the shrimp and sausage were cooked perfectly! Compliments to the chef! As for what kinda place this is...its not a fine dining type of establishment...lol but those that come here, already know that. Its a place to come chill, get a drink, hear some music...and grab a bite to eat. (Dine in or carry out) The bartenders were friendly, and fixed good drinks!! My 5stars are bc I enjoyed 30 minutes of relaxation while I had a drink waiting for my food. I prefer R&B over the music the DJ was playing, but the folks that were there were enjoying it, so its all good.

Yeah I had high hopes. But at the given moment I would not recommend. It takes more than 15 minutes to o even place an order for your first drink. The bartender was ignoring people last night Brahe was taking drinks with customers and being chummy with 2 specific customers. I’d assume they’re friends and family. I didn’t feel like a valued customer. I support black owned businesses but run it like an actual business

Cant really review but wanted to let everyone know that even though they advertise opening at 5, they actually start serving at 7:00. Looks more like a bar than restaurant, sign on door says there is a $5.00 re-entry charge.?

This place was an absolute disgrace and completely disgusting. Came here for an event advertised on Facebook. The place from the outside looked closed and dingy. Came in and it was just as it appeared, dark and dirty. I saw no one inside that worked there besides a woman in the kitchen. She was apparently the cook and the only one working. The TVs had layers of dust and fingerprints, the windows were dirty, and the tables had crumbs. Nothing appeared to be clean or taken care of. The music kept cutting in and out. Only a few lights were on. We were promised a DJ and a bartender. It was after 7pm and there was no bartender in sight. To top it off, we saw German roaches going up the wall by the booth we were standing at. So disgusting! A health inspector needs to come in here and check things out. We left right after this and will never return or recommend.

OMG I was not expecting this for to be so damn good. Nice little hole in the wall to eat drink and enjoy yourself. We went on a Tuesday night and it was karaoke. We had a good time. My husband had lemon pepper shrimp, collard greens and macaroni I had chicken and waffles and the cheese steak eggrolls?

the food is good but the hoops you have to go through for it is WILD. I waited 20 minutes after their supposed opening time & still nothing. they never answer their phone so you can't call ahead to see if they're open or to order. service is ok, but it's so frustrating. they charge over a dollar a wing so they're not the cheapest. it sucks because they're my favorite wings in St. pete but today I wanted to cause a seen outside from how annoying this run around is. ridiculous.

I use to order here all the time. But today I ordered at 506 pm and at 556pm my order was canceled stating the restaurant was closed! The website and Doordash says open...and why the 50 minute wait when the dasher was waiting for over 15 minutes.... never had an issue but I promise ill never order from here again! Guess the owner picks n chooses who to serve so I'll take my business elsewhere

Was headed in here but my brother went ahead of us and came back stating it was some people smoking weed inside and it wasn't good. Some other people walked in and walked back out as well.
