I always order take out and it’s best to call in advance to save time. The food is worth the wait though if you happen to hit the place at busy lunchtime. I go specifically to get square knishes for my husband. I always end up adding more and more to my order. Knishes can be ordered open-face with pastrami or your choice. Absolutely comforting and delicious.
I've found where they have been keeping the best Roast Beef sandwich on Dark Rye. Went in with a friend for lunch. Great service I must say. But the sammy took the spot light. Had been here before but usually for breakfast. I wish I had taken a picture so everyone could see a masterpiece. Thank you for a great sandwich. And thank you for great service.

Me and my family (4 people total) came to eat brunch on a Saturday. We ended up getting lunch-my son got the Double Decker BLT, I got the corn beef pastrami over stuffed wrap, my dad got the roast on rye with slaw, and my man got the Beef and Bird. Each plate came with a dill pickle slice. We absolutely destroyed everything! It was so good there were no leftovers. We highly recommend and will definitely be back. Nice little gem and genuine NY style sandwich shop.
