We had a good experience, best to not pick a busier than usual day like Mother's Day, the kitchen may be compensating. Entrees were a hit or miss in terms of value, it was 7 of us and not all of us got value vs portion size. Overall it was good, cocktails were great but you are there for the experience and location not the food. Some plates may feel overpriced to what you will actually get, it was easy to feel underwhelmed. We've encountered our downfall during dessert. Definitely not worth it. Non of us liked our choice. I particularly got crème brûlée but it was hard, cold and didn't have the creamy consistency you expect from a classic dessert.

We took our mother for Mother's Day celebration. The service was great. The food was delicious. The fish tacos and charcuterie board were our favorites. The view is the best. Great place for celebrations & romantic too.

I wanted to go to this restaurant for quite some time, and because of the location and the hype, I had some expectations. The shrimp ceviche was very spicy but the menu does not indicate that - put a little pepper next to it or at least inform verbally. A kids' apple juice costs $3.50, and the adults's juice cost $3.00. I've never seen a kids item being more expensive than a regular item - and btw it was not real OJ as informed! Our waitress was very polite, professional and friendly, so she was great! But even though the restaurant was not busy, it took about 40 mins for the food to be ready. And regardless of your experience, they add 20% gratuity to the check.

Three of us went two friends both got entrées that were served cold. Mine was a hamburger. I split it three ways but we had to send the other food back and that was waiting an hour to get it so we will go for a drink, but we never go to eat again. Our waiter his name was Lee and he was very nice. The manager on duty was nice. Optus and the two bartenders were lovely as well, but we won't go back there for some. The bartenders were Ryan and Sheldon and they were very engaging and nice

Very strong kitchen here, particularly with their seafood dishes. Service was a bit spotty which is probably due to the automatic 20% tip policy. If they paid their employees a living wage the policy wouldn't be necessary.

Beautiful views, attentive waitstaff and wonderful, varied menu. You will not leave hungry! The beer, wine and cocktail menu offered a great selection, and our server said, "if there's something you want that you don't see, our bartender will make it for you!"

This place is amazing. The view is fantastic. Service is top notch. Stacey made us feel special from the moment we sat down and she made great recommendations. Finally, the food was delicious and served in an appetizing way.

Food was fine and server was fairly attentive but it took over an hour for us to receive 4 burgers and French fries. Seemed crazy when they charge auto gratuity to seeming cover all parts of service and the restaurant was not even full.

It was my wife and I first time however the server brought out the wrong food that we asked for the manager came back gave us salads on her made our meal right once it came out it was great and she also complimented us desserts on her we will give them a try one more time

We had such a lovely experience. The staff and atmosphere are amazing and gorgeous. Our food was fantastic and the espresso martinis are out of this world. Will be coming back again.

PRO TIP from a local: Beautiful views but very disappointing food. They plate things “fancy” to compensate for very mediocre food. Example - coconut shrimp is offered in EVERY Florida restaurant near water... so everywhere & this place served it in a popcorn box & tries to act as if it is special. Steak was unimpressive in size served & flavor. They automatically bring it out sliced & with a dipping sauce... facts: no GOOD steak NEEDS a sauce. We also got the Florida man scallop pasta & it was decent but NOT worth $28. All in all I would say go for drink at their gorgeous bar & if you want to soak in the views go enjoy a great seafood meal at other near by restaurants & just plan to go here for desert to watch the sunset. That way you aren't waisting money on basic bar food just to eat it at a fancy place. You're welcome.

One and done for us! Teak had a beautiful view from the restaurant and being at the end of The St Pete Peir you could see everything. We enjoyed the staff as they were happy and very accommodating. The food was a mixed bag of good, ok and I can't eat this. The 'New England Clam Chowder' was about as far from New England as possible. Being originally from New England both my husband and I could.t even eat the chowder it tasted so poorly. The dinners and desserts were good. Our bill came to over $120.00 without any alcohol drinks or major overindulgences. We never ate the chowder we had and nor did the offer to even remove my small cup serving from our bill. Basically, it was overpriced. You will be paying for the view and to be on St, Pete Pier. The top floor was a bar/ food and drink service and looked like a lot of fun. For us it was a definite one and done event.

As always, when friends come to St Pete for the first time to visit, one of our dining experiences is the Teak. It provides such a wonderful view of the city as well as great food and usually good service. This experience included terrific service from a server who had been there 4 months....sorry I don't remember his name. Thank you!

Overall horrible experience and definitely a tourist trap. We ordered the clam chowder as an appetizer. There was an overwhelming spice in it that made it un edible. We mentioned it to the server and asked what it was. She said the chef wont say - to the chef - it's horrible. My husband ordered the paella based on pictures that were shown on the website that are misleading. Tiny boiled shrimp and scallops. I ordered the seared tuna dinner. I was told it was sushi grade but that was absolutely not the case. It was hard to cut, covered in sauce/spice. The manager asked how the meal was. I told her that the tuna was so covered in spices that I couldn't taste the tuna. Her solution was to offer additional sauce. There are many great restaurants in the area with better views and much better food.

We visited Teak for lunch today with our three little ones, my wife, and her sister, attracted by its promise of elevated dining and beautiful views. We started with three appetizers: Shrimp Ceviche, Brussels Sprouts, and a Charcuterie board. My wife and I also enjoyed margaritas. I opted for the steak frites, substituting yellow rice for fries and requesting the steak medium rare. The hostess and waitress greeted us with warmth and friendliness. The Charcuterie scored a 7 out of 10 for us - decent but lacking in creativity. The Brussels Sprouts also earned a 7, while the Shrimp Ceviche was disappointingly a 2, salvaged only by its presentation. It was excessively salty, to the point of being nearly inedible. After a unanimous agreement on its overwhelming saltiness, we left it mostly untouched and notified our waitress. While I don't expect compensation for feedback, I believe it's critical to alert the staff to such issues. Surprisingly, the manager claimed the dish contained no salt, challenging our shared experience of its overpowering brininess, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. In contrast, the waitress handled our feedback gracefully. The remainder of the meal, including my steak and substituted rice, was unremarkable and not quite up to expectations for the price, possibly due to the timing or the chef on duty. However, a highlight was the Margaritas from Teak, which surpassed those from the upstairs tiki bar in quality, striking a delightful balance compared to the overly sour mix of the latter.
