To say first the second star is ONLY because our drinks were comped which was the least they could do considering that’s what myself and part of my group only received. To start I had two cabanas reserved for my birthday and this was the most disorganized dining experience I have had. Food took anywhere depends from 20 mins to 2 hours to come out, only some of us even got our food. I understand there are two separate kitchens, I understand it’s a Saturday, but it’s how you handle your mistakes that is what’s wrong. When there are multiple mess ups on your behalf and not even an apology is said is the least hospitable thing you can do in the hospitality business. The food that did come out was mediocre. The entourage is great and vibes are right but if you’re coming for the food, or service, or inviting people to celebrate you, save the embarrassment and your money but mostly your precious time and go somewhere else.

How could a restaurant with a pinepple wearing sunglasses on a swing as their logo not deliver the 5star quality experience St Peterburgians have come to expect along Central Avenue? They did all the things that scream successful restaurant. Rolled out the putting green on the patio, bought some metal chairs from the Walmart Private Reserve collection, got a canopy at Big Lots, put up the flat screen TV's as mandated by St Petersburg commercial building code and then turned up the Reggaetechno mix to high on cocaine levels to create the ideal ambiance for lunch with friends. But I think where the world class vision of Swingers was most observable was in the staff. Seemingly recruited from the bathroom line at a NA meeting, the servers and bartenders did their best to make sure everyone who entered knew that the 2 dogs in a pantsuit that act as the chef were really behind. You could sit down and they may bring you water or they may just avoid direct eye contact while they slump from table to table thinking how they'd rather be at home having their daily screaming fight with their partner. Oh and the food! Glorious plates of mediocre wings, burgers and fries. Those dishes so HARD to find without the exhaustive walk literally across the street or two doors down. Kudos to the owners for seeing a demand for subpar deep fried starch erroneously labeled small plates on a menu on that exact corner. Between the space, the staff, the menu, the absolute bananas or should I say pineapples, half assed attempt to open a restaurant on an extremely busy corner, Swingers likely is not long for this world. So make sure you take it in before it Slides on out of here if just to enjoy the innovative graphic design work of their sign.

Great outside dining area. We were there on a Sunday for a Sunday brunch which their brunch menu is somewhat limited. The food was good. I had the Salmon bowl and the salmon was cooked perfectly. My wife did have the bottomless Mimosas. Prices are reasonable.

Not much good to say about Swingers. I'm giving a one star for the outdoor patio with swings and one star for the possibility of low kitchen staff and supply shortages. The brunch menu was lackluster choices, several options were not available, server never checked on us, food took forever (especially for eggs),food was basic. Keep in mind that there were about 8 employees on the floor (not doing much and definitely in no hurry) and only a handful of guests. Taking this one off the list.

I have been here multiple times in the last 8 months. It is a fun bar with great outside seating area, oversized jenga, cornhole, cabanas with swings, fans, heaters and sun shades. The have live music sometimes. Indoor seating area is limited. Menu on QR code and you can pay at table. The service is always friendly, but they are usually short staffed. Good cocktails. Thurs night fish n chips special is a good, tasty deal. My boyfriend liked the short-rib grilled cheese. The fries are good as are the cheese curds. Something for everyone. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed sitting under a tent on a swing eating lunch on a hot day! The fish and chips were delicious!

The thing that caught my eye first at this restaurants was the cute decor and the fact that they have actual swings to sit on while you eat if you want- or just for a cute picture with friends! When my friends and I first walked in, we were a bit confused since they don't have a host stand. Be sure to go inside and let them know you're there! The staff was friendly and everyone there offered to refill our drinks when we were out even if they weren't our server! They offer a great happy hour from 3-7pm and it was the perfect deal for a girls night out. My friends got $4 glasses of their house Pinot Grigio wine, and I had to try the 'Ankles in the Air' speciality drink. I loved the tropical flavors in this cocktail and I 100% recommend adding the pineapple floater to the drink for an extra $2 like I did! They have a happy hour deal on beer as well if that's your drink of choice. We decided to share some appetizers before venturing into St Pete. We got the baked Brie drizzled in honey- this was both savory and sweet and so sooo good! Then we got onion rings with a Siracha dipping sauce- the onions rings themselves were perfectly crispy and the sauce was tasty without being overly spicy. The final appetizer we got was the Bruschetta- this mixture of vegetables and balsamic on top of crunchy ciabatta bread was definitely the winner out of the three dishes! Outside, they have giant Jenga and corn hole to play, and a very nice patio to hang out on. Overall this was a great experience! And who can say no to sitting on a swing while eating? Such a unique idea and a great start to the night!

Food was very good and so were the drinks. Only rating 4 stars because there was only 1 bartender and you could tell the night staff didn’t set her up for success (we had lunch) at least 8 people walked out because while trying to serve she was also trying to set up and had to keep running to the back to get things. She was really nice and doing her best but management needs to make sure things are ready for the next day if you only have 1 person staffed for lunch.

I am not a big foodie, but when I like something that must be good. I don't like fish but ordered a fish spread and loved it. Chicken curry was great too.And about the service... 7 starts for guys and gals. Becky was amazing, always checking on us and just doing stuff without us having to ask (water, napkins, coasters,...)

Words can't even describe how horrible the service was. This review was for a private event. It took 30 mins just to get waited on and 1.5 hour later, appetizers and food still have not come out. It took that long and 3 different people to bring out the soggy chips for our first appetizer. How hard was it to prepare chips and salsa? It has been almost two hours and only one appetizer came out.
