OMG! Best pizza in the area, andmost creative!!!!!! Super sweet staff! My only complaint is beef up the wine by the bottle or allow a corkage fee. But hands down a go to for amazing pizza in St Pete!

I read the reviews before ordering and was excited to try the food…I was extremely disappointed. The pizza had hardly any sauce at all. The wings reminded me of the frozen wing dings and were extremely dry and lacking sauce and they didn’t give the ranch dressing it was supposed to come with. The garlic knots were ok at best but we ordered the 8 piece and only got 7 and it was supposed to come with 2 sides of marinara and we only got one. The cinnamon sugar knots tasted like a dinner roll saturated in butter with very little cinnamon and sugar. I feel like I just threw almost $70 in the trash right next to the food we threw away!

We absolutely love this pizza! Best we’ve had in town. We came for the pizza and stayed for the company. We ordered a pie to go and sat at the bar having a beer while we waited. We got caught up talking with Craig, and the wonderful friendly staff. We felt like we were in a little secret place that only the locals knew about. Matt, the owner, has perfected pizza! Ask about his amazing story and how he created the name. It was on national news, just to give you a teaser. We had the McClellan and the Superman. Both were excellent. I’ve never had a pizza here that was less than stellar. Parking is easy and free. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the pizza here! We tried the McClellan pizza and man it was a fantastic white pizza. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back and update this review with a few more slices tried

??! My favorite pizza joint ever and when the northside location turned into a golf shop I thought they closed permanently... PI went 2+ years without my favorite slices. I vented all the time about my favorite pizza joint going outta business. Nowhere else compares. 3 weeks ago I found out they are still serving slices and I smiled like a child on Christmas morning. It brought me such joy to be reunited with my favorite spot today. I came down from Pinellas Park for lunch. The greek slice is to die for. Add sundried tomatoes and enjoy!

Not just Matt, but the entire staff create the most welcoming experience you could ask for in a sit down establishment. The waitresses are engaging and are eager to talk to you, and not one bit of it feels awkward or forced. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate, with an easy seating arrangement and captivating interior decor of sports memorabilia, you kinda want to keep hanging around and not be so quick to leave upon finishing your meal and drinks. The quality of the food is exceptional, and deserves the attention it receives for being a part of Matt's 'pizza diet.' Perfect portions make up a well cooked pizza that is even good cold as leftovers ??Also, the drinks from the bar are made exceptionally good.Worth the 45min drive I took to visit. You won't regret stopping by.????

HANDS DOWN ALWAYS AND FOREVER, MY FAVORITE AND THE BEST PIZZA EVER! Been eating here for over 10+ years and I’ve had nothing but the best things to say! Matt is one of the greatest guys ever and the staff is amazing! If I could give more stars I would in a heartbeat!

This is a great place for pizza. Matt does it right here. The staff is friendly and there is even beer and liquor if that is your thing. Try the McClelland, it's one of the best pizzas around.

After having been in the restaurant for almost an hour waiting for our food, we were informed that one of the chefs and the manager "walked out." Only the people in our party who ordered pizza were eventually served and those of us who ordered the special ended up going to another restaurant. They liked the pizza but it took way too long. Perfect example of being understaffed coupled with poor training by the management. I hope they can get it together.

For what it’s worth I have been to a lot of different Italian pizza whatever you call it places the calzone that I received tonight was by far the best calzones and service I have ever received location is kind of weird but if you can find them it will be definitely worth your time and effort for real and I really don’t do Google reviews but I called him up and told him about it as well highly recommended you’re missing out if you go somewhere else have a blessed night or day or something

Matt McClellan owns this place, and the pizza he created the McClellan is the best white pizza I've ever had. He seems to be working everything I visit. He knows success. Can't say enough about this place. My Only pizza shop.

I’ve been coming here since they were at the Publix location years ago. They are now open later on Saturday it was chilly today so I called to order a pie and jokingly asked if they had the fireplace on. They didn’t but said we will start one and sure enough they did. Great pizza , great people I will be back

Best pizza in town. When you fold the slice & it stays straight with the crispy bottom, it's the real deal. Matt knows how it's done.

BAD SERVICE... food was horrible Cheese was rubbery ... I ask for a Tito and cran...Was out ... server never ask if I wanted anything else... also never asked if my husband wanted another beer... never brought out my salad... and to top it off,.. a customer had her dog in there and sat it on the table... and then the chair..as she was sitting at the bar, the dog fell off the chair.

Been ordering here since Tour De Pizza used to have their location on 4th. After cycling through multiple pizza places in St. Pete, I can say beyond a doubt that Tournament has the best New York-style pies this side of Pinellas County. Also, the staff and management have always been super friendly and are very quick to assist and correct any mistakes.
