Stopped by last night (Valentine’s day) for oysters and cocktails after having a truly terrible experience at a neighboring restaurant. When we arrived, I was absolutely starving and feeling a bit down from our dinner experience. The oysters and cocktails were perfect, and instantly lifted the mood. The Vinoy is a wonderfully romantic setting, and the bar staff was so sweet and accommodating taking a picture when I asked. Highly recommend for any date night.Just wanted to say thank you to the bar staff. Y’all are phenomenal! ❤️

We had Christmas Eve dinner at Parasol. The menu was Latin-inspired and was delicious, although the serving was very small portions. The pork, yuca, salad, rice, and plantains were served on one regular-sized plate. The service was good, but we were SHOCKED when we received the bill: $80.00 per person for this small one-plate meal. Our bill was over $200!!!! What a sad, sad way to end our celebration, Noche Buena. Shame on the Vinoy for this event. We will not return until something is done about the absorbent prices at this poolside casual restaurant.

Such a beautiful quaint place for a bite! Drinks are a bit on the higher side but it’s such a cute place to catch up or happy hour. Very walkable area! Food has detailed touches which I appreciate. Service was on point!

As an outdoor lounge in Florida it may be a little warm but those of us who have blood temperatures adjusted its not bad. Tuna Carpaccio and Parmesan Frites were delicious paired with an afternoon Martini and French 75.

The Veranda is a favorite spot for grabbing a bite and people watching. The menu is flavorful and Joe makes the best margaritas! The views are incredible and can't wait for the adjacent seating area to open. Highly recommend!

If you need to grab a quick breakfast or coffee in the morning, this is the place to come. The ladies who work here are super friendly and hard working and they remember your name.

Lovely Inside/Outside Bar at the Vinoy In March, we had the pleasure to stay at the Renaissance Vinoy St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club, and I took advantage of stopping into the Veranda Café a few times - always just for wine. The Veranda Café is located in, and just off of the lobby of the Vinoy, and for the outside, there are two areas: the bar, logically on the veranda of the hotel, and then an al fresco dining area, on the front lawn, with tables, and lots of umbrellas. One side of the bar is inside the lobby, with both stools and then livingroom seating, and the other side (the larger of the two) is on the veranda, with stools and also comfortable sofas and chairs. Above the exterior, veranda bar, there were lovely ceiling fans, that were very effective on this March afternoon. I settled in at the bar, and looked over the B-T-G wine list. I found it to be rather nice, and while short, it did have some options - I chose the Hall Napa Cabernet Sauvignon ‘16, and was pleased that the stemware was quite nice. The next visit found me in front of the Newton “Skyside” Chardonnay. The service on both visits was excellent, and attentive, and the venue is both relaxing, and charming. I never did sit inside (the weather was too nice), but that part of Veranda Café was attractive, as well. For me, a great place to sip wine, and look out onto the harbor.
