“While this place does not get the same buzz as Cuban Coffee Queen (which I get it - it's an iconic Key West establishment) - I think Great Lakes at Perry is the best coffee shop on the island. Great coffee, excellent decor and atmosphere. I mean being able to enjoy your coffee and pastry while sitting outside with super yachts next door - it's fantastic. And the staff are also great, very nice.“

“Great coffee and donuts. We had two cafe cubano and shared 4 donuts. Key lime, passion fruit cheesecake, coconut creme, hazelnut brown sugar. The coconut creme was our favorite! They're small to medium sized donuts. It gets busy so go early to avoid the line! The place itself has indoor seating but many people sit along the sidewalk outdoors.“

“Superb coffee roasted and prepared by a couple with a passion for coffee. Highly knowledgeable of both the coffee origin and farmer as well as preparation. Excellent single origin Brazilian coffee brewed in a French press was the perfect start to a Key West day!“

“Wow! What an amazing place. Never expected such great service and cool atmosphere!!! Such a variety of drinks including Kava, CBD and Delta 8 & 9 drinks. Sat at the bar. The worker gave us samples and had a complimentary welcoming drink with us. It was straight Kava. Had an interesting taste. Lol. I ordered a mixed drink and it was amazing. Not quite ready for straight Kava yet! Didnt get bartenders name but we were here March 18th at 5 pm. He has really blue eyes! ?? oh and it was Happy hour. “We needed a quick stop for breakfast on way out of town and this gem did not disappoint. Service was top notch- like a fancy restaurant, seriously. Food suggestions were perfect and Food came right off the grill, piping hot within 5 minutes from ordering. We had the sweet crepe with eggs, sausage and mozzarella cheese; and the strawberry banana crepe with whip cream. Both ah-mazing. Don't be fooled because it is in a strip mall... this place is divine.“

“This neighborhood hotspot does a banging business with the locals who seem to compose the majority of the regulars. Most people I spoke with were huge fans of the Cuban or the Cuban Pork sandwich but I also found plenty of high schoolers who swore by the bacon, egg, and cheese. We ordered a steak and cheese, Turkey and cheese, and a BLT. Cooking style is a wedge that is pressed flat like a panini. All hit the spot and merited a return visit. Prices are reasonable and service is con sonrisas. There are a few stools outside and a ledge for devouring your sandwich in record time. Caveat: Bring cash as they were experiencing some digital difficulties with the Apple Pay on my second visit and I was short on cash and had to curtail my order.“

“Fresh ingredients! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. My husband is a vegan, I am not; he loves good coffee;so after I googled choices nearby with good ratings,(and there were several),I decided to try this place because it had Koffie in their name; and well, that aught mean they are serious about coffee and it is a good chance it will be good. It was great! My husband ordered a RedEye (ie regular with a shot of espresso) and avocado toast (minus the egg — he’s a vegan). asked for hot sauce and she brought us a bottle of their homemade sauce! Homemade! Nothing wrong with store bought; but this place is the REAL DEAL!!! Goodness.I ordered a non-fat small latte. the latte was soothingly smooth with a nice foamy top. For food I ordered their Shakshuka, which comes with a fried egg, cut up freshly made toasted bread slices and a sprinkle of feta. Delicious flavor, well made. sorry no photos. The Koffie House offers an array of options of beverages, foods and of course coffee — without being inundated with over choice.Super cute decor; chair seating is creative; love the array of choices and crystals here and there adding to the vibe and experience;very friendly. They have free Wi-fi and upstairs is a comfy cozy hangout place; there’s a set up for a DJ and some metal singing bowls; chimes;crystsl bowl. Not sure what goes on upstairs and couldn’t find out (i asked but the person didn’t know about the singing bowls and other stuff). After cruising the town, we stopped back for hubby to get another red-eye for the road.“

“Great spot! The lemongrass mojito is one of the best mojitos I have ever had. Lobster roll was also top notch! The owner Omar was very kind and personable. He even sat down at our table with us and had a great conversation! I recommend anyone to stop in and try it out.“

“Stopped in with friends for breakfast the other week. I got the Key Wester sandwich, Cuban Vanilla coffee, and a smoothie (the strawberry one). Line was like 15-20 people deep when I got there but moved consistently. Service was friendly. Food was DELICIOUS, especially the smoothie. I'd go back!“

“How about to yums up on Mattheessen's! These cookies are soooo good. I got the snickerdoodle cookie and a chocolate milkshake. Both were amazing and I had to go back today. Slightly expensive but very good. Great service too! When in doubt, check it out!“

“Best spot for great baked goods and sandwiches! Tucked away in old town this spot came highly recommended and we totally were not letdown. A cute bakery that offers takeaway only. Sticky bun was my fave! Lightness of a croissant with the gooeyness of sticky bun! Perfect match! Very reasonably priced too! We liked it so much we went back twice! Had the Italian sandwich based on a recommendation of a local patron and it didn't disappoint! Make sure you go early as they close at 3 pm and their stuff sells out!Tip: walk down towards the water to the ferry terminal and you can grab a seat in the shade on the second floor and enjoy your treats/lunch while watching the boats in the marina!“

“Super cute and quaint togo spot. The bread is fantastic. I ordered the egg sandwich and it was just egg and bread but it was so good and held its heat very well. My husband got the mixed cuban sandwich with no tomatoes and that had a lot of flavor. We also got a guava pastry that was so light and flaky. They are very quick, I'd love to try more of their menu.“

“True to its name! A cute, clean, friendly, modern coffee, tea, bakeshop, art shop, and wine shop. A few resident/family of roosters on-site, roaming. See media of the baby rooster. Didn't snag any of the adult roosters, unfortunately. Pictured here is my order of their Ginger Honey Tea during the last afternoon, which is reminiscent of my favorite Filipino hot fresh ginger drink called Salabat; and an order of their homemade Napoleon Cake at a second visit at night.“

“Stopped in specifically for some avocado toast and coffee. The coffee was good, the avocado toast looked great, the taste could have used more seasoning but with some salt and pepper it was good. We also had the classic breakfast sandwich with ham and that was very good! The Cuban bun was a highlight. The shop is small but there wasn't ever a crowd when we were there around 8 am. It was a delightful place to sit, eat, and look out the window without feeling rushed.“

“The service wasn't anything - it seemed that the woman who worked there didn't have the strength to be there and she was a bit unsympathetic. The man at the cash register was cute. We ordered a cheese toast which was nice but in my opinion expensive compared to the value and a Cuban sandwich which was really delicious and bursting inside with filling.“

“As I was waiting for the van from my hotel, I stumbled across Ana’s Cafe Cubano.Upon entering the cafe, I felt like it was a tiny cafe that would be in Cuba. The atmosphere was excellent and the owner or employees were super patient and professional. I ordered two empanadas and an Ana’s Authentic Cuban. Sorry, I have no photos because the empanadas were eaten immediately and I carried the Cuban sandwich to the hotel for my parents.“

“Best iced coffee in KW, best empanada I've ever had in my life (and I'm from South Florida), food is amazing, the family is lovely... You should go here. It is actually depressing how hard it is to find good iced coffee here, I've tried them all, I really only like the coffee from this place. The breakfast sandwich and burrito are actual perfection. Watching it being made in front of you, you see the care that goes into everything. Nothing is greasy, everything is fresh. Also... did I mention they have the best empanadas I've ever eaten in my entire life?“

“This spot had such a local vibe, I got there pretty early in the morning so I only saw a handful of people. A cop who's wife came to meet him for breakfast, what seemed to be a worker from a local store and a few other people. Staff was very friendly. For the coffee l'm a Miami native so I gotta say I was expecting better but it still hit the spot. The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread was delicious. I loved taking a walk while I finished my coffee and even got to see a manatee surface. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!“

Their cakes, especially their chocolate cakes, are really amazingly good.Vegetarian options: Veggie quiche is really good. Caprese puff pastry too.“
