Hair in my food! What a way to want to evacuate half of the to go dish I bought. The food isn't that bad here but someone or everyone working in the kitchen or handling food need to wear a hair net. They're just letting in hang back there. Even though the food is fast and fresh plus the service is usually good here, hair in my food is a deal killer for me. meaning I won't be visiting this location again.

I usually don't leave a-lot of reviews, but in this case this is my 2nd time going to this place and food has been “just nasty”. look at the fried food, appears to and taste like the cooking oil is weeks old. It used to be one of the most recommended spots here in sun city ruskin, but in my opinion it has hit rock bottom. i dont know if they changed cooks, ownership, or just think that they can cut cost by reusing the oil while increasing their prices. That was a shrimp roll by the way with 1 and half shrimp in it.

When you walk in the door, it appears that you're in jail because of the plastic windows the employees are behind that have been there since covid and need cleaning??? This isn't my first visit here, and I'm trying to support a small business by giving them a chance, but each visit it isn't improving. My food this order was absolutely horrible. I ordered two dishes with chicken and received something I think was tofu because it was like bitting into a piece of boiled chicken fat and tasteless. I also ordered pork fried rice, which was great. Two stars for the rice!

Hated everything about this beef n broccoli, it rubbery, rice was dry like, veggie were hard in rice they weren’t cooked. Had a craving for Chinese recently moved to Ruskin and still haven’t food a good Chinese restaurant ??♀️ The general Tso chicken wasn’t fresh at all, as you can see the meet was dry, as if it was sitting all day and just got tossed in sauce when I arrived. I had 2 other dinners as well but, I just won’t go back I was disappointed, we ate as much as we did because it late and I spent about $50. Maybe because it’s close to closing time… idk it was horrible

My family and I came into this restaurant tonight and we greeted the guy working at the register repeatedly and he never responded or looked at us . So with that, we turned around to walk out the restaurant and while existing a white male came in and the guy at the register greeted the man. So unprofessional . I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. All people should be treated with respect no matter the race. 0

I've been going here for years. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food locally. The family that runs the restaurant is friendly and their food is great.I always order my fried rice with no onions(eww), once they accidentally put them in. I'm an adult and I know mistakes happen, so I just started picking them out. An employees saw me doing so and insisted that they remake the entire meal.They get food out quickly and have great portions. I recommend China Chen to all the newcomers to the area and they're never disappointed.
