“This place is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is very nice. The decor inside and outside was bright and energetic. They had swing seats that were adorable and fun. I had the birria tacos as well as the chips and Pico de Gallo. The chips were made in house and tasted phenomenal; so crisp. The birria tacos were soooo good. They were packed full of flavor and paired well with the sauces. I highly recommend going here. The only downside is that they do not accept cash; it is card and online payments only.“

“Chito's is an unassuming food truck tucked between buildings off NW 2nd Ave. You need to be patient, as the food takes a bit to prepare, but it's so worth the wait. “The service was fast, but the food wasn’t the best. We ordered almost every taco on the menu. The Al Pastor and Birria were just average; the excessive use of chunky onion overpowered the taste. The Picanha meat was overly chewy, and the shrimp taco was too greasy. The margarita had more of a lemonade flavor.“

The rice was really good, the chicken could've been more seasoned. The flavors weren't as pronounced in the burrito. And they charged me an extra $1 for cheese. The guac and chips 3/10. The guac is just mashed avocado. No salt, no pepper, no pico or onions. And the guac was getting a little old as there were brown spots in it. Cheap chips too. Not worth the $7 price tag. Overall, I would definitely come back for the tacos!“

“1st had them when i was spending a week in Cap Haitien, Haiti last year and was set on trying the location in North Miami when i was back stateside... So finally decided to check them out with my niece. They are located right by the North Miami Museum of Contemporary art off of 125th ave. Staff is very friendly , helpful, and will quickly answer any questions that you may have. They not only offer Pizza but also griot tacos, wings, and more. We decided to eat in and ordered a medium Griot pizza and also a small Smoked herring pizza (to go). Griot pizza was so good we decided to also try the herring while there as opposed to waiting for later. We liked that even more! Definitely recommend. The US location is just as good as the one in Haiti.“

Unfortunately, when the bill came and was paid (via a portable payment device), we didn't notice the 20% gratuity automatically added, and we tipped another 20% on top of it. A $30 tip on a $70 meal was not what we had anticipated. But that's what we get for being in a hurry. As other reviewers have stated, definitely look at your receipt. Tacos have plenty of meat and the prices are fair. I had 3 tacos and a Jarrito for $11.00 dollars. I'm not giving it 5 stars because, of parking and the wait time. I've been here a few times, I do suggest you go after the lunch rush.“
