Great hotel. Check in was fast and smooth. Room was super clean (especially the bathroom) as was the carpets (no bad smells like other hotels). Bed was comfortable, wifi worked good. Breakfast was a buffet but the best hotel buffet I have been to. Over all very happy and will stay here again as its 1/2 way to see our son in the military.

Such a beautiful hotel!! Definitely freshly remodeled from the inside out. Feels like a luxury hotel from the staff, the free beer upon check in, the spa, and internal dining. One of the nicest stays I've ever had.

*****Warning you will be charged for your stay upfront.*****Normal practice for any IHG affiliates is take a preauthorization amount, and the bill is settled once you leave. Not only did they preauthorize my stay, they also charged me upfront causing my credit card to be charged twice. This cause a variety of issues for me as I'm traveling on business (15 day stay) with a limited budget. Tate the GM did the best he could, but according to him, this is the practice of the investment group that operates this and six other properties in the area. Reason he said, because they have had an influx of fraud lately. I cannot stress enough that they did nothing to accommodate. The gentleman at the front desk was overwhelmed to say the least, and it wasn't till the next day when Tate came in that we came up with a temporary fix. My boss had to drive 5 hours to help me get a room that initial night. I will never stay here again. This is only a handful of properties operated by a franchisee group, and does not reflect my usual experience with the IHG brand. I will stay loyal to IHG and write this off as an isolated incident. I hope to help at least one person with this post, I don't need any freebies from your dirty hotel.

I used to really enjoy staying here. Come to town all the time for work. Recently i've wondered why there's a new manager every week or so. I finally got it, in the past, friendly staff, the bar/dinner area was nice and though overpriced, not bad, and wifi was good (important when you travel for work). This visit, staff was very short, breakfast /dinner was closed mostly but when I did go the three people there were more interested in their own conversation than any kind of service. I asked for a beer and was told they weren't cold, we just put them in the fridge at 7pm? Went out back to get something from the truck and the "kitchen" is a dude on the grill out back? Is that to health code? And the wifi was atrocious. They've also doubled the rate with no explanation. That last part probably due to spring break but no one said a word. Overall, find another hotel.

We were staying at the sister hotel and decided to dine here. Empty restaurant was a red flag—-I should’ve listened. Server took the order fine. Then everything went downhill. Did not see waitress again for a long time. Bartender served salads that were brown. No croutons in Cesar salad. Quite a while later waitress informs us appetizer is burned and being remade. Then she is gone. No refill on drinks. Do not see her at all. I wander out to the lobby to find her and front desk clerk finds her. Appetizer is brought out burnt again. We were trying hard to be patient but when no plates were given to eat off of that was it. Told bartender we did not want to continue and asked for bill. She charged us for the salads! $6 each. Paid and left. Saddest part was this was my sons birthday and I tried so hard to be patient and not get upset but there were so many things wrong in this experience. We have paid so much to the sister hotel and really expected a great dining experience. Wow it was worse than I’ve ever seen.

I actually think this is a very nice hotel but it has one major flaw that caused it to go from a 5 star hotel to a 3 star for us personally so for those looking to get a good nights rest I would go elsewhere. My husband and I are parents of two autistic children so sleep is something we don't get much of. My dad usually gets us a hotel on my birthday which was this past weekend so this is about our one night a year to go out without our kids and get a full nights rest. We were woken up at 5:38am to the most screeching ear drum busting fire alarm which had us jumping out of bed in fight or flight mode. We had no idea what was happening. It finally was turned off and nothing seemed to be going on so we attempted to go back to sleep which was near impossible. My husband was pretty upset about it but I figured it was probably just some sort of accident. We eventually went downstairs to ask what was going on. They basically just shrugged it off like it was no big deal and said that this happens regularly when the kitchen is cooking breakfast. I was honestly shocked to hear that this is a regular issue they have and they wake all of their guests that early with a screeching fire alarm all the time... it definitely ruined our one night of good sleep.

Stayed here for a night on our way to Pensacola Beach. Very impressed with how clean this hotel was! The room was a good size and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The buffet breakfast was one dollar per person. Was a little skeptical of what we'd get for a dollar, but it was outstanding! Could even gets eggs to order. The service in the restaurant was top notch! If I had anything negative to say it would be the glass of wine I ordered at the bar tasted old, but I didn't realize that until I got back to my room. Didn't feel like going back downstairs so I just poured it out. But this does not affect my 5-star review. Would definitely stay here again!

This property at Quincey Florida is mandating staff "Jenny" front desk clerk to have guests disclose private medical information when checking in with service animals. Desk Manager James Genung has crafted a word process documents with NO Holiday Inn letter head to force guests to fill out a personal medial questionnaire. I wrote a letter to the manager and is included below: Dear Mr. Genung, With all due respect, you are completely mistaken regarding proper check in procedures and good customer skills which both you and your staff "Jenny" lack. I'm fully educated on what service animals provide considering my spouse is disabled and I don't need you to copy the PDF of ADA as I find that an insult to my intelligence.. A service animal is an extension of a disabled individual and disclosing ANY information about that is a clear violation of an individual personal medical information. Unless you are a medical practitioner you are not previewed to such information, and also there is something also known as the 4th amendment right to be secure in one's persons, papers and effects. . I'm not going to waste anymore of my precious time trying to explain to you the proper way to run a hospitality property so I will continue to forward my concerns to higher ups. Your reply is short of being disrespectful to your guest relations and the Holiday Day Inn brand. NO OTHER HOSPITALITY PROPERTY HAS EXHIBITED ANY OF THESE CLEAR VIOLATIONS OF INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS TO MEDICAL PRIVACY. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AND GO DOWN THE STREET TO HAMPTONS INN WHERE YOUR TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.
