Do not eat at this place. i had ordered the french toast and it had come with a hair in it. When we told a person who seemed was a manager we were told that it would be remade and refunded in its whole. Mind you i had not asked for it to be remade and was ready to leave but stayed as it was quite late already and my girlfriend wanted to stay as she was very hungry as well and didn’t want to wait to go to another restaurant . When the check arrived we say that it was only partially refunded and when we had asked about it and if there was any mistake we were laughed at and told the hair wasn’t in the sides so they were charging ur for. Under normal circumstances if we had been told this we would have absolutely no issue with this but considering the circumstances and the fact that we were promised a full refund for my meal and the fact that they had laughed at us made us very upset. After we paid our bill and we’re sitting there a old white man who introduced himself as the owner walked up to us and we assume he’s there to apologize about our inconvenience but no he starts talking about how it the partial refund is more than fair and proudly states how another customers with the same issues week ago only had FIVE dollars taken of his bill. So we respond and tell him that we only asked because we were PROMISED a full refund and we’re fine paying the bill ( WE HAD ALREADY PAYED BY THIS POINT ) and how his employees laughed at us for a simple inquiry and this man accuses us of trying to play a "CON GAME" and that we were trying to get out of paying the bill. We got really upset but this point as we had been nothing but nice to this man and he repeatedly chooses to escalate the situation and disrespect us just for the sake of it. After this we call him out and mention how we have been to this establishment and other locations of canopy road cafes multiple different times with no complaint and tip 15-25 percent everytime and how we have both worked and been to other establishments where a full refund and a gift card for future purchases is issued in the case of a foreign object being found in a customers food and how our refund or the other customers 5 dollar refund is not anywhere near being "MORE THAN FAIR". After hearing this he tries to say how he’s not trying to cause and argument and how he doesn’t see how i can compare my situation with the other customers situation after he literally started of his argument by comparing our situation to the other customers. He also shuts us down by saying how he doesn’t care what we have to say and he can say whatever he likes as he is the owner.I am sorry for this extremely long review but this is truly the worst experience i have ever had at any establishment or with a person period. This man is one of the most disrespectful people i have ever met in my life and i want people to know what kind of person is running this establishment.

Horrible service. Refused to sit our party until everyone showed up. Asked for an outside table where we could put 2 tables together and instead of waiting for 2 tables to clear they continously sat any and every single party that showed up after us FOR AN HOUR so that we were never able to get a table.We had a member in our party in a back brace due to severe spinal fractures who was made to stand waiting for an hour so this is ridiculous.Instead of letting us know that they could not accommodate us, after an hour we returned the buzzer only to be rudely told "we had a table inside for 40 minutes" a table they REFUSED to sit us in at the very beginning and one they never told us was an option.

We were 4 friends there for breakfast on Saturday morning at 9:00pm. I ordered the fall special "Pumpkin Spice Pancakes". The food and service was good. I didn't like that my eggs and bacon were brought out before my pancake though and didn't stay hot as wasn't brought out at same time. Our waitress was great but we were kinda put off by a gentleman in FSU shirt whom I assume was the manager as he was kinda pushy in rushing us out and said if ya'll are done eating you can go outside and sit on bench. We were still drinking coffee and had plates still on the table. We were only there from 9-11 ish and spent about $100 total between the 4 of us. I may go visit another location next time.

Beautiful cafe and wonderful atmosphere, but don’t expect fast service on a Sunday. We got there right before 1 o’clock and didn’t receive our food until after 2 o’clock. Our server, Edna B, serviced all tables around us except us. We were at the restaurant for over two hours and received only one refill on drinks after me getting up, finding her, and asking for it. Spoke with a manager and he didn't seem to care as much. Eat here at your own risk.
