We went here because I heard they had frog legs. This place did not disappoint!! I had the frog legs & fried green tomatoes both were great. My husband had the catfish filets and my son had the fried shrimp, both said their food was great. The service was also fantastic from the hostess to waitress to the guy clearing the tables. I couldn't be more happy that we tried this after 7 years of living here and talking about it.

Ordered fried shrimp/deviled crab cake combo, cheese grits, coleslaw. Very good. Crab cake wasn't overly breaded. Wife had fried shrimp, cheese grits & fried okra. Also very good. Basic tartar & cocktail sauces. They also have a 30 fried shrimp special if you are really hungry.

Short version.The crab cakes were meh, scallops had no real flavor, & the tilapia was ok. AYCE crab legs were cooked perfectly, as were the fried shrimp. I just wish they offered broiled shrimp as an option.My Mom loved the hush puppies & coleslaw!Our server was AMAZING!!! I believe her name was Hannah. She was on point. We never had to ask for anything! The pies are good. Not a true key lime. Still good!

We found a little local gem as we were driving through Tallahassee Florida. This place is a simple and friendly seafood diner with hand airbrushed decore and a great menu.Most of the fare can fried, grilled, baked or blackened. My wife had the fried Shrimp and Crab cakes while I sampled the fried Claim strips and Oysters all where perfectly cooked and flavorful. The Hush puppies not something I usually rage about were actually quite good I dare say some of the best I've ever had. They were tasty light and airy in texture kudos for everything we had today. This is obviously one of those local secret if you know, then you know locations. Now that we know I'm letting everyone else know if you find yourself passing by this way and have a hankering for good, quick, quality seafood, lunch or dinner this is a must stop and try kinda place.
Good, affordable seafood. Our order of whole fried catfish and shrimp was great. The sides, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, were equally good too. It would come here if I am craving some good seafood. ?
The waitress was nice and good about checking in on us but the food came out my mom's fish was cold and bland the cole slaw was nasty the gator tail I got was good but it was small pieces and not that many for the meal I left hungry still was not gonna pay another 20 dollars for another meal

Amazing food, great service. A few folks from the department I am in at the office, we ordered different items and all shared. We all had clams, gator tail, calamari fries, fritters, crab cakes, corn, okra, and I had soup, the entire meal was great. Not only am I saying Cristal River was good, there was a line of people waiting to get in when we left, that Saya it all right there.

First time here and I loved it was greeted by Anandi She was so sweet and funny and my server Jeff made sure he did everything he need to do to help me. The food was amazing. I recommend anything blackened.
