Decided to give El Jalisco, as a company another, another chance. More often than not we leave most of their restaurants feeling full but it's at the expense of our time. This time, we waited about 40 minutes for our good and it probably too about an additional 15 minutes to eat and pay. We ate quickly since the AC kept kicking on and it felt frigid in our booth nook. The food was ok, with the chips and salsa being the star of the evening. The flautas were moist and juicy, but lacked in depth flavor. The street tacos were ok, but the shells had grit, likely from a griddle that needs cleaning. My significant other works in kitchens so he's pays attention to the details more so than me. All in all, 2 meals, 1 margarita, and tip put us just shy of $43. Given the slow service, we probably won't be back. If we decide to visit an El Jalisco again, it'll be the Monroe location. But even then we're not ones who like to sit in restaurants long unless we're with friends. We like to be in and out when we dine.One positive I really liked about this place was their outdoor dining set up. It had a nice look and feel to it. Wish I had snagged a picture.Additionally our waitress was fine, we had no problems with her. I think the kitchen may've just got backed up.I visited Jan 30 after 6pm

We came for my friends birthday. Everyone was so nice, especially Cecilia!! The food was delicious! We really love it here. Such a warm and welcoming environment. Family friendly and fun for friends!

I was going to eat at this restaurant but not anymore. The host has been rude to me several times when picking up orders for third party deliveries. I will go support a different local business instead.

Unprofessional and extremely rude. Will never order from them again. They need to learn some manners. I made a mistake and ordered from the wrong location. The person answering the phone got mad and hung up on me. I had to call them back and tell them what happened. After I explained we had picked up from the other location and paid at the other location. The person made rude comments and said things that I will not post online. I will never give them my business again. We didn’t even order that much food. I said I was really sorry and was very polite to them.

Don't expect cheese on your nachos. There is none. Only get shrimp fajitas. Beef and chicken have no flavor and cilantro and cumin is rarely used. It's hard to find good Mexican in Tallahassee.

Dine in with my family around 430 pm and the place was about empty. Waiter took to long to take orders and the drinks were blended. I don’t think he knew how to mixed them. Food was average Mexican food. There was a group of 8 sitting to our right and they were been so loud and cursing like street gang members. I was surprised the waiter or the manager never asked them to behave. So, I will not come back to this place with my family. I gave them 2 starts just for trying to be a Mexican restaurant.

This is usually a great place. However, today it was just not pleasing. The hard taco shells were stale. The rice was too hard. The tea was the best thing we received from this dining experience. The server forgot to put my order in with the rest of our table and I had to wait while everyone else was eating. I'll definitely eat here again but today I was disappointed to say the least.

Trash servers. Garbage service. Went to pick up a simple DoorDash and waited for 10 minutes while the host spoke to his buddy on the phone loudly. Then another server came and posted up at the host desk and just kept staring at me. Never greeted me. Never asked what I needed. Finally a woman asked what my order was. The man on the phone then said it wasn't ready yet. Then they all proceeded to chit chat amongst themselves. Honestly, customer service is so garbage these days. Ridiculous.
