Nelson, our server was amazing! He was so helpful, he taught us to pronounce the dishes, and walked us through the menu. He was genuinely trying to connect with us and share a real passion for delicious food. My 92 year old grandma tried yucca for the first time and decided she prefers it over potatoes-- a huge compliment from an Irish woman ;)We ordered the appetizer sampler and every single bite was delightful. The portion size of the platter would definitely be enough for a meal. We also ordered the surf and turf, the pulled pork, and a divine steak dish cooked with tomatoes, wine, and other vegetables. Literally every dish was delicious. Their pricing is very affordable. And I qould be doing yall a disservice if I didn't rave about all their sauces-- they were so delicious that my aunt asked for a little extra of each one. The dining room isn't super flashy, but I honestly prefer that-- it gives the restaurant an orderly, clean appearance and puts the emphasis where it needs to be: on the delightful food and the family you're sharing it with.We will all definitely return and reccomend!

A smaller relaxed environment with delicious food and great prices. The Chicken Vaca Frita was one of the specials so I had to try it. The waitress also noted it tastes better then the beef option shown on the menu. The onions were grilled perfectly, the chicken moist and seasoned perfectly, and the maduros and moros paired very well with the meal. 10/10 will be coming back. ?

Floor had food, sugar packets, leaves, straws, napkins strooned all about. Chairs had food on them & needed to be wiped down. Our beer bottle rolled off of our very slanted table. Our waitress was lovely & although we discussed having a basket of bread & order of maduros come out 1st. that never happened. Food took way too long to arrive & was all lukewarm! Aoli & mojito sauce were nice, but needed garlic. The outter edges of our milanesa steaks were so fried/crunchy, they were not edible. Red sauce on milanesa was exceptionally seasoned, but black beans has way too much bay leaf or oregano!

Love, love, love this place. Lechon , moros, and sweet plantains make for a wonderful meal, usually with enough left over for lunch the next day.

I finally found a restaurant that provides authentic Cuban cuisine. The food is cooked to perfection. I had the "Ropa Vieja" in English "Old Clothes" and the taste was out of this world. The congrí (black beans and white rice cookced together), was incredible; the yuka was soft, the texture and the sauce it comes with were amazing; the sweet plantains, were so good; the flan and tres leches deserts were the best I have ever had. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I will certainly be back and let my family and friends know about this great restaurant. PLEASE open a Habana in Valdosta, Georgia, 31602 and Nashville, Georgia 31639; it will be a Hit!!!

Definitely not worth going to. Cuban sandwich was super dry. Not much to it tbh but it might because of inflation. Asked the server how the fries were, her response they are regular fries. So I didn't get them. Overall, I can't recommend for quality and training of staff on how to sell their menu.

I haven’t been to Habanas in years but I was craving Cuban food so my husband and I stopped for lunch before a Costco run. We shared the lechon entree with moros and tostones and got the croquetas and an empanada to share as well. They only had a couple beer options so we went with the Mexican beer they had available. The service was prompt and friendly. They brought our entree out on two plates which was very nice since we didn’t even ask, we are fine with putting a plate in the middle and going at it but this was obviously easier and the plate had plenty on it. I feel like plate sharing is a divided subject but I am in full support, I’m not trying to be hurting and suffering through the rest of my day especially if I have chores to take care of.The pork was delicious and the sauce was excellent! I’m looking forward to adding this to our pre-Costco run restaurant list. Gonna try the Cuban next time for sure.
