They need to take their all-you-can-eat buffet offline because they don't have no buffet and you're not allowed to even go inside you have to order and outside they're very rude

I have been ordering from this restaurant for the past 15 yrs at least once a week. I have never had a problem with the food or customer service except for today. I order shrimp fried rice and shrimp lo mein. The shrimp had an awful smell. The smell was so strong that it actually burned my nostrils upon closer inspection. The shrimp also had a very rotten taste. I called very nicely to let the restaurant know that I was a loyal customer, the food is usually good, but the shrimp on these order were bad. The person on the phone was immediately defensive, rude, and was not receptive to anything I had to say about the food. I was very surprised by this interaction as I have been ordering food from this restaurant for more than a decade. I asked if I could just order something else (non-shrimp), he refused stating that it had been too long since I ordered. It was maybe 15 minutes since I left the restaurant and my office is right around the corner. I always order lunch there for my staff. I am not the type to write bad reviews as I am also a business owner so I understand how dealing with unsatisfied customers could be and no one is perfect, but the way I was handled today after more than 15 years a loyal customer is totally unacceptable.

Ordered food right before closing the chicken was very dry and smelled like it was cooked in old grease. My fried dumplings was burnt.

Hong Kong saved the evening as we arrived t our destination hotel, the Homewood, only to find they were not longer providing the dinner that we have come to expect & pay for. A number of restaurants in the area were either wayyyyyyyy over priced or closed, surprisingly & apparently due to this Corona Business. We did not want to drive any further as we were tired & did not want to walk across the highway to get to Hong Kong so we asked them about delivery to the hotel & they said they would. They did not tell us they would charge extra for delivery until I saw the itemized bill after providing a very nice tip to show our appreciation & paying the bill. I thought that was what the tip was supposed to be for to show appreciation for hard work & good service. Then I saw what no one could explain, a bill that was slightly higher then it should have been because of the delivery charge of $2.25, more tax, etc. That means we gave an even better tip than we thought we did. I hope they appreciated that. They added extra mushrooms to the Szechuan Beef for $1.00, but it may have taken the place of some of the beef. There was no mustard provided with the enrolls, only duck sauce & soy. We had to add some soy to our dinners to get all the flavor out & we normally never do that. The Szechuan was not quite as spicy as I expected & the peppers rather mild. However, I asked for spicy, but not overpowering. Never the less, having Said all that, the service was prompt, courteous, & better than expected. The food was hot & tasty & filling. We enjoyed it & now knowing how they operate, can acclimate, but would return if in the area. We truly appreciated them delivering to us across the street at the Homewood, that did not provide what we paid for.

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this place. I've ordered takeout many times, it always arrives quick and very fresh and hot. Best Chinese takeout I've had, and I've lived many places!
