Service is good, atmosphere is good, food not so good. Takes a special kind of skill to have raw batter left in your uncooked pancake and nothing better than powdered mix for the sausage gravy...yum! Wouldn't recommend.

I work in the plaza and have loved this food. however the last two experiences wasn’t so great. i had fried chicken sandwich that was burnt and sure it was made in old grease. I wasn’t happy i ended up getting food somewhere else. I went for another try today cause i’m like that was just one time. So this time i got the big salad and literally $12 for one piece of chicken on my salad. i said can i just order another piece he says the ran out of chicken. it’s so much salad barely any chicken

This is the best diner in Tallahassee. The atmosphere is amazing, very friendly staff, it just makes you feel like you’re at home. The food is amazing and of course my favorite is the biscuits and gravy with two eggs sunny side up and bacon.

Very yummy eggs, potatoes and sausage. My friend had the bowl which he couldn't finish. Plenty of coffee refills and attentive staff. Cute on the inside with lots of space so you don't feel crowded. Would return.

First time today with friends! Was spectacular . DJ was our server and was awesome! Food was delicious, biscuits seemed home made, everything was great! Thank you DJ for a great experience

First and only visit. I Ordered the dirty bird couldn’t chew the chicken or the biscuit…they remake the chicken but they run out of biscuits yet charged me full price for a plate I couldn’t even eat. The remake of the chicken was just as bad as the first. This is photo of my replacement “meal”. Still burnt and only a piece of chicken.

Tried one of the specials; the bacon blue cheese burger and it was outstanding. Will definitely stop again when in town
Menu is very simple. Prices are very reasonable. Although it’s pretty basic for a diner, the food is well-portioned, and perfectly cooked with surprisingly high-quality ingredients. Servers are attentive, kind, and considerate, even when you’d expect them to be overwhelmed by the high customer/server ratio. Environment is clean and comfortable. This place had the spirit of a cozy local spot where you might go to read the paper over some coffee and good food, and yet, even on a packed Saturday morning, it ran like a well-oiled machine. There was some groovy music playing at low volume, so you can still hear conversations well, even on days where every seat is full of happy, chatting families. I’m taken aback by their perfect balance of simplicity and mastery. It’s rare to see such a humble restaurant with employees who clearly take a lot of pride in their work. This might be my new favorite restaurant, and I’m not even that big on diners.P.S. I had the bacon bleu burger, and I highly recommend it. That jalapeño bacon jam was a really nice touch.

Love this little "retro" neighborhood diner. Great breakfast and lunch menu. The fried chicken sandwich is awesome.
