We’re from S. Florida and whenever we visit Tallahassee, we always stop at Mo Betta BBQ for brisket. We generally spend between $30 and $50. Yesterday we stopped and noticed there was no smoke coming from any of the grills. We were hoping they weren’t closed. The brisket was really dry and tasted as if it was leftover.. The cashier asked if I was paying with cash or card? That was unusual and I used my debit card. I noticed last night that I was charged $1.63 debit/credit card processing fee on a $45.52 bill. At no time did anyone advise me there was a fee for using my card. My husband is not one to complain, but admitted the meat was extremely dry and a waste of money. I guess we’ll have to wait until we go to Texas to get some good brisket.Parking: Parking was better than the food.

I love bbq, but the brisket was very dry. I hate leaving bad reviews but this isn't the first time for bad bbq here. This slogan "Break yo mouth" hits differently now. Thank goodness for the bbq sauce, otherwise it isn't palatable.

Went yesterday got a slab of ribs a couple sides and a bit of brisket to try. The briskets has a nice flavor to it. The ribs were dry rub. Everything was nice and tender. Food was excellent a little different then I’m used to but it was really good. My husband finished off the leftovers today. He said the beans were phenomenal. We Definitely will return. I want to try nachos next. The man and woman running it were very sweet this place is all around great. Definitely worth trying for sure.

This is my first time trying Mo Betta BBQ. I should have tried it sooner. The brisket on a bun was so delicious. The juicy, tender brisket, the soft bun, covered in the perfect amount of sweet & savory bbq sauce. Then there was the Mac & cheese ?...... creamy with a hint of pepper. Loved every bite and will be back.

I just had the worst experience here todays cook was not nice at all and worst part about it when I had to correct my food it seem to be an issues but worst part about it I watch him throw my sausage in the microwave usually my bread is soft and my sausage is Hot and today it just wasn’t that but when it was time to correct it I shouldn’t have watched you throw it in a microwave ??

Sandwich was dry with lots of gristle and fat,whole smoked chicken over cooked dry inedible, I won't be back.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Had a chopped pork sandwich, yellow rice and coleslaw. The pork was beautifully tender and not over-smoked. There was even some burnt ends in it. The sauce complemented the meat, not overpowered at all. The rice, perfectly cooked and the coleslaw was great. Next time I'm in the mood for BBQ, I'll stop in.

My experience today about 6:20 I ordered a 1/2 slab of ribs got home ready to eat and they dry not tender and over smoked to the point that I couldn't eat it, Took it back replace it with chicken and the chicken wasn't good neither they say it tender but it's over smoked on the smoker. I grill everyday also and the meat that was served to was over killed. I would never sell a customer this at all I would find a new griller. Maybe u need to hire me u want to bring the people. Never would eat there again until they find betta cooks!!!!!Kid-friendliness: I was greeted as soon as a approach the counter
Food was good, but it's a shame that they charge customers a fee to use credit/debit cards. If a merchant is going to accept credit cards, then the fees are a cost of doing business, no different then electricity or labor.

Hello. This is not a bad review that I'm giving, but it's a review that you should be aware of. I support you all and I love your food! But I'm tired of wasting my money on your brisket. Your ribs are always the same they never change perfect and tender and fall-off-the-bone your pork is awesome to as well. But please stop selling tough brisket but as I said I will continue to support you all because I believe in your products. Peace and love and continued success.
