Had lunch and the service was amazing. It's been since precovid that I had found an actual hibachi restaurant and they are.

Prior to this last weekend I've only ever ordered takeout here and I was pleasantly surprised dining in. Typically I order the sushi lunch special which comes with 3 rolls, soup & salad for a pretty fair price. I came in without a reservation on a seemly busy night and was seated immediately, I also placed a sushi order despite being seated for hibachi. The steak was tender and the rice, noodles, veggies were all great, it wasn't overly salty or oily. The hibachi chef wasn't very talkative but he did offer to squirt sake in any brave diners mouths which was comical, he was willing to make adjustments to peoples orders too. The inside was cute and clean so no complaints here, I would definitely return as it's much better priced than other hibachi spots in town.

Our recent experience here was not good food-wise, except for the yellowtail appetizer, and our servers were probably two out five stars as far as attentiveness and menu knowledge, but the manager was great and did what he could to correct things and our past experiences here with sushi were great, like easily five stars for the food and I don't remember any issues with service, so I'm averaging things. I will definitely come back here for the sushi and if it and service are what I remember, I will chalk this off as a bad day for them.Yellowtail appetizer topped with flying fish roe and accompanied by razor thin slices of jalapeno and a ponzu sauce was about perfect. The salad with ginger dressing that came with the hibachi was crisp but was overdressed with a lightly creamy dressing with little flavor overall other than cream and light sweetness, but that was pretty good after one of the sushi chefs was nice enought to get me some vinegar to cut it with; definitely not a ginger dressing though. The "soup" was a dashi broth with a couple of pieces of raw mushroom and a few tiny slices of scallion. The yum yum sauce was gross watery slightly sweet mayonnaise. The steak pieces in both hibachis were ordered medium rare but varied on one plate from rare to medium and the other from medium rare to well. Shrimp in one were about perfect but the scallops in the other were way over. Veggies were very overcooked and on in one dish one saturated in some salt-bomb sauce. Noodles had a burnt oil acrid flavor and the fifteen pounds of fried rice was flavorless. If the steak and scallops had been cooked better, the veggies had not been cooked to death, the noodles didn't taste like burnt oil, and maybe just the noodles or noodles and a lot less fried rice, and maybe the sauce on the side, it might have been good.

To the public with great joy im looking forward in sharing my wife's and myself experience at this restaurant. It goes without mention that the staff and chiefs are extremely experienced and very competent. The menu is well balanced, extremely satisfying, and priced within budget. Our meals were prepared to perfection and completely satisfying. Altogether, bravo! Job well done.

Nagoya - I miss you! I moved away from Tallahassee and have been desperately trying to find another match for Nagoya's quality, speed, and just absolute deliciousness. Nagoya is such a high quality restaurant, from the quick and kind service, to the incredible sushi rolls AND hibachi, you won't find a better sushi place! (And it might make you consider moving back to Tallahassee...)Parking: It is a large parking lot in a shopping center, and I have never had issues parking there.

Food is better than samurai, nice place to eat, they serve a lot of
This is the only Japanese steakhouse you should go to in Tallahassee! They have the best prices, with the best food and they always give you tons of yum yum! The people who work there have always been 10/10 nice to us and they always create such a great environment. Like I said, this is your spot for a Japanese Steak House!
