New Stars is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve eaten from in the 6+ years I’ve lived in Tallahassee! The food is always delicious and take out orders are ready very quickly. My family has gone through most of the menu in the past several months and have yet to find anything we didn’t enjoy. We really appreciate when the owner/chef gets creative and makes something special when requested and it’s always fantastic. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

This place is trash!! I called Tuesday for fried wings and they said they were out of wings so today I ordered a order of fried wings which I was told that seven wings to an order for $9 ok cool as they use to give you whole wings after taking my money they give me my order and there’s only 6 sections when I ask where’s my whole wings I was then informed that they don’t give whole wings anymore WOW!!! The 6 sections were overpriced as well as over cooked hard burnt and fried in dirty grease!! I will never spend another penny at this place a complete mess and ripoff!! The guy up front is rude and not professional at all!!

Fresh and delicious Chinese food. Very nice people, the restaurant is pretty empty though, it’s more of a take out place, but there is seating.Parking: It’s a plazaKid-friendliness: There are kids here playing sometimes and they are always super friendly when you bring in yours.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s definitely wheel chair accessible

This has been our go to for Chinese food for over 15 years. the food is good and I don't think there is a dish they offer that some of us haven't tried. Tonight we ordered 3 combination platters, Beef Lo mein, beef and broccoli and sweet and sour pork. They each came with an egg roll and they aren't stingy with portions. the food is considerably above average for store front take out. Their won tons are wonderful and is something we add on often. We agree that if you want better food then New Stars , you have to go to a sit down place and even that isn't always better for the food. Dning area is small, adequate and clean. It's a small take out place for the majority. Prices are good we usually spend about 34/35 bucks if we don't get soup or wontons. with tax. Food, service is quick and friendly. We usually order 2 - 3 times a month, sometimes more. 15 year plus customer.

I ordered two lunch meals using their online service. I thought the online ordering tool was super easy to use and very convenient. I received my confirmation number and a note indicating the food would be ready in 20 minutes, which was perfect. I took off to pick it up and arrived at New Stars about 15 minutes. The attendant was sitting at a table, enjoying something on his phone. There were no other customers there. I told him I was there to pick up an online order and he jumped up quickly and said OH! he grabbed the receipt off the register and read it to me to confirm and said it would be 5 minutes. Well I could've been upset that he didn't even realize he had my order but the truth is he DID deliver within the 20 minutes that I expected it and it was hot, fresh and delicious. The only thing that was a disappointment was the Krab Rangoon. It appeared to be baked and not fried which may be healthier but has a very different taste and on this particular day, I was looking forward to some fried Krab Rangoon!! Overall the portions were sizable and we were both pleased with our meals. Yes, the prices are higher in recent months but it's actually still cheaper than a combo burger order and you get a big plate of Chinese entree, fried rice if you want and an egg roll or soup side. Pretty good for less than 10.00!!

I feel bad adding a poor review of this place considering all of the others. I will say they are very fast, food done before you even arrive everytime. The staff are also very friendly and typically smiling. However as others have stated, it's all frozen despite many menu descriptions stating "house made" Egg rolls just cabbage nothing else. Everything is so oily its nearly a death sentence, rice, rolls, noodles, chicken so much grease. We know it's not supposed to be healthy and is a cheat meal but dang.

Fresh, delicious, hot, affordable, and excellent portions! I eat here at least once a week and have tried several menu options and haven't had one bad experience yet! I highly recommend the Singapore rice noodle dish, teriyaki chicken (on a stick) and the beef & broccoli with veggie lomein (that's my go-to).

The worst tasting Chinese in town. I only go when my favorite is closed which is rare and I am always disappointed. The food is bland, it's like frozen Chinese. I would be convinced it was thawed out if the people were not back there cooking. They are the McDonald's of Chinese.
