Very mediocre.. they use the same dough for bread, pizza, subs.. the same sauce for pizza, pasta, subs.. convenience, I get it, but makes it for uneventful plates. Atmosphere is loud, service was below mediocre.. the whole experience was sub par. Won’t be returning..

I had a disappointing experience at Ricardo’s upon entering the waitstaff was seemingly disorganized, withdrawn and just plain rude. We arrived an hour before closing time and after walking through the door the owner let us know that we had 5 minutes to order our food because they were about to close early due to being “slow” we told him “ no its okay we don’t mind just heading back out” he stated “no just make it quick and sit in the back corner” we felt rushed and uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend

We throughly enjoyed the delicious food and the great service!! It’s a continued family tradition that is not to be missed. It’s all great! Lasagna and deserts were the best ever and so was the service! Thank you!

Old menus are of no value. Current menus with clearly stated, accurate prices are a must for ANY restaurant's listings. Diners should be able to make informed choices.

Super yummy casual place for very reasonably priced classic Italian food. A Tallahassee staple with a long history of reliably good inexpensive carb fixes. Everything is tasty. Don't miss the bread! And come early or make a reservation because the place fills up fast!

If you want cold penne with marinara and 3 ozs of chicken with the ambience and temperature of the peruvian desert than look no further than Riccardos. They keep the restaurant at a balmy 83 degrees no matter the season. The calzone is good though.

I think the portions could have been bigger for the pasta. But it's still good food. Bread is excellent.

Best Italian food in Tallahassee. Homemade pasta and bread, generous portions, unbelievable pizza, all for a reasonable price. GiGi was a wonderful server and we will absolutely be back!

A nice hidden Italian restaurant in Tallahassee. It's been over 25 years since I ate at this location, but it was a different name that I think was owned by the same person as Andrew's downtown. The food was wonderful back then, hope it carried over. It took a couple trips around the building to find a parking spot, but we snagged one. I figured the place was going to be packed and we would have a wait, nope, 10 open tables and booths. Humm. Why all the cars. Never figured that one out. A nice clean restaurant with decorations. The staff were very friendly and took our drink and food order quickly. The wife ordered linguine with clams in garlic butter sauce. I ordered my favorite Italian dish Veal Parmesan. I changed out the side to a salad with no issues. Dinner was served with hot herb bread with herb butter. Nice. When the wife's dinner was served you couldn't miss all the clams on her dinner. They were cooked perfectly, I had to try one. Now for my dinner. Right off the bat you can tell the cook didn't wait for the oil in the pan to get hot enough before laying the breaded veal in the pan. What happens when you do that? The breading soaks up all the oil and it's like the veal is covered in an oily bread. Breading should have been crisp, not even close. The red sauce was wonderful, but it was hard to get past the oil soaked breading. The veal was tender, and again the sauce so good, I made the mistake and ate the dinner. At 1am my stomach reminded about the mistake. So two dinners, one really good, and the other the chief and I blew it. He cooked it wrong and I ate it. I will return, but it won't be for the Veal.
