No pics as usual. Sorry. This in my opinion is the best vegetarian restaurant in Tallassee. I would also say they would hold their own when compared to similar type restaurants in other cities as well. They both execute the dishes they prepare very well and they have interesting menu items. My two favorite regular menu items are the tofu banh mi sandwich and the oyster mushroom poboy. The latter is surprisingly similar to its oyster counterpart. I also recommend any of their weekend breakfast bowls which I get with eggs but you can get it with crispy tofu as well.

I love trying any attempt to recreate carnivorous food without meat, so when I saw this online, and I saw how good it looked, I knew I had to try it, and The Bark did not disappoint. The Oyster Mushroom Po’ Boi was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. I also got to enjoy some pool while I waited. The tofu bánh mi is *chef's kiss* seriously so good. I actually hate tofu, and this is the only tofu I will eat, it's so crispy and delicious. I also enjoy their fries. And of course, the eclectic atmosphere.

I used to be a vegetarian, and I found this place through the nerd trivia that they host. The food here is unique, wholesome, and vegetarian/vegan. I had their tofu banh mi in the past, but it wasn't quite the flavor profile I was expecting. This time I got a beans and rice bowl with tofu, and it was great, but I wish it had more kale and fresh onions. The peanut butter pie was rich and delicious.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegan, but there are some dishes with eggs.

This place has delicious food, I'd definitely come back if I lived nearby!! The atmosphere has kind of a rocker vibe, and they do live music here. There's pool tables and it's definitely just a fun dive bar kind of vibe. The parking is horrendous, so just be prepared for that. The servers are pretty nice and helpful. I ordered a vegan mac & cheese bowl with tempeh bacon, and I'm not kidding when I say I can't stop thinking about it 5 days later. The peanut butter pie was also delicious! You would never know this food is vegan it is so good.
