NEVER AGAIN. I have been to The Lunchbox dozens of times. I have lived in Tally for 20+ years so I have also eaten here when it was Jenny's Lunchbox. It has always been very busy, however; this past Sunday the service was unacceptable. It was a table of TWO people and our order was simple, a sandwich with fries, and a burger patty only with steamed broccoli. We waited over AN HOUR for our food, and never received it. I have never gotten up and left a restaurant before, but this was ridiculous. There is literally no excuse because I have eaten here on multiple occasions, with with more people waiting. There wasn't even a wait for a table. They need to get it together. There are plenty of of other places to eat for breakfast and lunch. I suggest trying The Egg which is where I will be going from here on out.

My order was light on eggs and hashbrowns. My Fiance picked up the same meal and had larger portions. He is a regular and picks up breakfast at least 3 times a week. I am and not a regular and went around 12:50 pm for the first time.I happily walked back in with both of my meals with the same portions and asked for more. I was only concerned about the hashbrowns as we are bit bug egg eaters. The server had an attitude "that looks like the normal hashbrown order". Not all all, I know what this specific meal looks like; I see it three times a week. I always eat breakfast with my finance. I know exactly the portions.Not only did I have to wait exactly 7 minutes for the hashbrowns the cook ignored the servers request. Just make the food, instead of asking why he had to make. You (the cook) put the food in the plate and saw the portion didn't match any other plate. I guess if you go earlier the portions are bigger.*small cramped space but decent foodSuggestions:1.Call ahead order... well if you can get them to answer.2. Check your food before you pay or leave.3. Speak up if something is wrong.Parking: Parking is a disaster due to how small it is. Alot of people block people in. Find an actual spot or cross the street.While there two ladies almost fought due to blocking.

Very nice little place. I was in town yesterday and decided to give it a try even though it was not the closest from where I was staying, but the menu was just what I was looking for and it had good feedback from the reviewers online. My steak was cooked to perfection, everything was delicious. To complete the experience, the waitress was awesome, really nice and friendly, I didn’t get her name, she really deserved to be mentioned here. Highly recommend The Lunchbox!
