Anytime my husband and I travel through Tallahassee in the evening, we stop at The Melting Pot. The ambiance is perfect, the food is great, the prices are very reasonable (considering what you get), and we have consistently had great service.It's nice to be in a restaurant that isn't bright and loud. I wish there was a dress code, but that's a personal preference, not a complaint.Dietary restrictions: When I asked for the ingredients for one of the sauces, to ensure I wasn't allergic to it, the waitress immediately found the information and let me know.

This is a great spot for Valentine’s Day or a date night/special occasion. The fondue is delicious and so are all other foods I tried. The drinks are also great.

Amazing Valentine's Day special! Loved the food and service was amazing. I will say whomever is pouring the cocktails there could probably stand to use the jigger, as the old fashioneds were waaaaay too strong--not a very good balance on simple to whiskey ratio. Ideal ratio would be 2oz spirit to 1/2oz simple and a few dashes of bitters, not 4oz of whiskey and 1/2oz of simple.

Food was good as usual. But when I called to make a reservation they failed to let us know they only had a limited menu this week. We drove an hour to eat there so we ate. Then prices on the menu were reversed and neglected to tell us until we questioned our bill. Anyways lesson learned.
My husband and I visited this location for the first time last night and we had a wonderful experience! At other locations we’ve been there for hours due to slow service, but our fabulous server Alexis had us in and out in one hour! We did just the cheese and chocolate and everything was delicious. Alexis was very attentive and made the experience very enjoyable. We will definitely be back in the future.

Unfortunately I'm sceptical about my wife's and myself experience at this restaurant. Roughly speaking, we really was not satisfied. Although the staff was exceptional, the menu was quite limited with no additional substitutions. Also, one should be prepared for the closing costs.

I enjoyed the experience. But for me to cook my own food and spend almost $300 is a bit much. But I guess it's the vibe. My daughter enjoyed herself, and that's all that mattered. I enjoyed the service and the workers were nice. Would I come again no but to say I've been it was an okay experience.

We've had Race as our server twice now, and he is JUST WONDERFUL. He is warm, personable, and knowledgeable, and he always makes us feel special and taken care of. Melting Pot is my favorite restaurant and it's so nice to be able to enjoy my favorite restaurant with such fantastic, impeccable service. Thank you, Race!
