Tin Lizzy's Cantina is a Mexican restaurant located in College Town, Tallahassee. The restaurant has a large outdoor patio, which is a great place to enjoy a meal on a sunny day. However, parking can be difficult to find in the area, so be prepared to walk a few blocks. The food at Tin Lizzy's Cantina is just OK. The tacos are a bit pricey for what you get, I did like the Ceasar Salad, and the chips and salsa were good. The decor at Tin Lizzy's Cantina is bland. There is nothing really special about the interior of the restaurant.Overall, Tin Lizzy'd Cantina is a decent Mexican restaurant. However, there are better Mexican restaurants in Tallahassee. If you are looking for a great meal, I would recommend going elsewhere. Here are some pros and cons of Tin Lizzy's Cantina:**Pros:*** Large outdoor patio* Good chips and salsa* Ceasar Salad**Cons:*** Difficult parking* Food is just OK* Bland decorOverall, I would give Tin Lizzy's Cantina 3 out of 5 stars. It is a decent Mexican restaurant, but there are better options in Tallahassee.

College students handout spot, we didn't have the best waitress, drinks didn't have enough alcohol in it. Almost got over charged for drinks until we over looked receipt. Good think we calculated before receipt was given.

The bartenders were on it. Great service at the bar and they even noticed when some of the tables were not being taken care of and they went out of there way to help out. Also had a group of rowdy boys at the bar and the staff took care of it. It’s nice to see a group of young ones being responsible and getting the job done. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful server - friendly and outgoing! All food was exactly how we ordered it and came out super fast!

Tin Lizzys is honestly my favorite establishment in all of Tallahassee. Every time I decide to stop in I am greeted by the kindest people and always walk out satisfied. I highly recommend Tin Lizzys to any and all my friends for great drinks, food, and atmosphere. Ask about the El Jefe!

Incredible tacos, unique flavors: Royale with Cheese, Low Country Boil, The Big Greek, as well as your standard Baja Fish and Buffalo Shrimp found at many taco places. Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were pretty well balance: Texas Margarita & Beach Bum, could taste the alcohol but it didn’t knock you out.

Olivia took care of us and WOW just WOW. Service with a smile would be an understatement! Immediately after sitting down I felt as if I had been friends with her for 6 years! Tallahassee needs more servers like this!

Enjoyed lunch here the week after Christmas. Our server was working the dining room solo and hustling to get everyone food, drinks, etc. food took awhile but was well worth the wait. Delicious tacos, queso and iced tea. Awesome deals on Taco Tuesday, but admittedly, tacos are pricey on other days.

It's all downhill. We ate here 1 year ago and it was fine. This time, not so much. Grilled Mahi Taco was raw and had a terrible smell. Not fresh at all. 2 of the 3 drinks were not great (margaritas at a taco joint should be spot on). The rest of the tacos were cold. Avoid this place. It's got food poisoning written all over. Oh, and the rest of the food was mediocre at best. Do better. Or you will be out of business very soon. Then, brought the check and was trying to charge us for the "bad" taco, plus the replacement. Should have been comp'd....the entire ticket for that guest. Nope. AVOID!!

We stopped by there looking for something open day after Christmas , Tina welcomed us with my family and gave us the friendliest service , even if we had only drinks and appetizers, the food was excellent , the chips were amazing and we had the chance to try the buffalo shrimp, not too breaded just perfect ! We will be back there for more food !:)

Friendly atmosphere. I ate for the first time shrimp tacos, and buttermilk chicken taco. They were excellent. I highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was not what I was expecting. We ordered 2 margaritas, which tasted like juice, the salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce, the tacos that my date ordered have very little meat (she ordered the chicken, beef and fish ?). I had the shrimp ? ? and it was okay. Our server Jake was cool, and very attentive and friendly. For Jake I would just stop by to say hi, but I wouldn't eat the food ?.Parking: You have to pay to park.

Don't trust a restaurant that doesn't give free refills.Ordered for pick up today and they almost forgot my queso had to remind them, and they made me a kale salad instead of a taco salad. Bruh. Read the ticket. I dont have time to come back and get the right one.

My wife and I came here for lunch. My wife who has celiac disease asked the waitress, who was also the hostess and the ONLY waitress working, about gluten free options. She responded, “I’m really bad about gluten, I don’t know.” So then we asked for the queso and for gluten free chips (listed on the menu). She brought out the (cold) queso and then said they were out of gluten free chips. Not OK. You first inform the customers about the issue (no GF chips), and then ask the customers whether they would still want the queso. We would have said no, as it was intended to share. To bring it out and then indicate that only one person could eat it was… cruel. We did not order entrees and decided to leave. Lack of staff, awareness, and food was cold. Overall a bad experience.
