Loved the selection of Southern dishes available on the buffet. Food was tasty. Large open facility. Only negative was that buffet was only option (on Sunday)...pay $15 or dont eat.

Wilderness Cabin is the place we must eat at every time we pass through Tallahassee. Southern comfort food at its best and a super cool rustic ambience.

Nice place eat buffet. Food fresh and tastes good. The place has a really nice interior design. Plenty of seating available. They keep lots of food at the food bar. They have fresh produce you can buy. All localproduction. Price is fair and includes a drink. There is plenty parking. Crew are friendly.

This place is very beautiful if you love outdoor in the woods type surrounding. Buffet is great, real Southern comfort food. Staff is nice. Love that when your done eating you can shop and buy really cheap fruits and vegetables that are grown locally. Pineapples $1.00, pack of strawberries less than $2.00, green bell peppers 2 for $1.00. Etc... Must stop by I highly recommend.

Went to the early dinner, very inexpensive ( $20 some for 2). But remember the saying; you get what you pay for. Food was very scarce and what they had out was awful, they never refilled the buffet, so we essentially paid for a salad which was the scrapings of lettuce and a chocolate pudding. Never will go back!

1st visit. Always looked busy so thought it might be good. Mediocre buffet. 3 kinds of chicken fried, baked and bbq but only had DARK meat. Lots of empty almost empty spots. Also thought pricey for lunch. $11.16 each for senior citizen. Will not visit again

We were looking for a lunch spot and happened to see the sign. The parking lot was packed (1st good sign). The price was reasonable for an all you care to eat that included the drink. Pay as you enter and find a place to sit. There was a great variety of fantastic Southern cooking. Delicious!! There were three serving areas and 2 of them could be approached from either side. There were a lot of people and the set up was designed to get a lot of people through quickly. A cool decor but go for the food

First time visiting and I thought that I would come on a Tuesday at 1pm thinking it would be less crowded than on the weekends...NOPE. While I'm sure the regulars think this place is great, I've had 100x better and it's hard to lower my expectations. The food was just mediocre, the dessert was good, but the service downright sucked. A waitress never came to get my drink order and just kept passing me by. Finally a guy on the other side of the room felt my glare after 20 mins of eating and asked if he could get me something to drink. He never apologized for whoever wasnt manning their own tables and no one came up after him. While I appreciate the idea of rolls of paper towels on the tables...you have like 30 tables and only 12 had paper towels on them. So everytime I needed one, I had to get up and take some off of someone's table or ask my neighbor for one. Clearly you aren't well staffed and from the other bad reviews it seems to be a regular theme. I will not be returning and will just refer people to Sam's Buffet where the food actually has flavor, is well stocked and not full of empty pans and the staff at least makes sure you're taken care of.

This is a decent place to visit if you really like country style cooking. At the price, though, this is not the place if you're on a diet unless you stick strictly to the salad section. But it is one set price regardless of what you get. The rest of the food is pretty fat-laden but very tasty. When I'm in the mood for this type of food I really miss the lack of fried okra.

Well at one time the food was great but now once again the owner changes out good people for mediocre. One of the managers a bald guy was awesome but apparently something must have happened. Its just not the same. I want my salmon with dill sauce back and the ribs that the manager cooked so well.
