I will only do bad reviews if I am completely disappointed. I only went because most restaurants don't open till 12. I was truly disappointed. Food tasted old, like it was cooked days ago and not refrigerated. I ended up throughout my entire plate away the food was so nasty. The food doesn't come how it is presented on menu, I have never been to a restaurant that doesn't serve plantains with the meal. After coming and looking at reviews and the way the owner responds to criticism can tell you exactly what you're getting. I would not recommend.

Stop having people answering the phones that don't speak ENGLISH! How the heck are we supposed to order? Requested to speak to someone who spoke English because the man was clearly not understanding me and he just hung up in my face RIDICULOUS!If you are going to serve an ENGLISH SPEAKING population then have someone who speaks the language!

Tried explaining to the person over the phone that they hadn’t turned on their ability to order through Uber or Post mates yet, and unfortunately the individual didn’t speak a lick of English. Tried calling three times to order over the phone to no avail, asked if anyone spoke English just to get hung up on, all three time. It’s been a couple years since I’ve eaten here , but looking at the reviews seems like you guys need to get it together.

I travel for work and I love my Haitian food. I sat there waiting for 10 mins for someone to take my order. I rang the little bell 4 times and no one came. A guy came in and looked at me and walked back to the kitchen and didn’t acknowledge me. I ended up leaving. Haitians need to understand how to provide customer service. I needed up going to Kreyol Delight 15mins away.

The food is okay. The service could be better. Just be prepared to wait a while to actually get your order in. I'd call first, if I were you.

I initially ordered food at Kreyol Delight. The white rice wasn’t ready so, I decided to give this location a try, again. I called and ordered over the phone. Luckily, the food was not ready ahead of time as I anticipated. I have eaten here before but, it has been a few years. When I walked into the restaurant, instantly I wanted to walk back out. The restaurant looked like a rundown market. I was in disbelief!! I remember when the restaurant was clean and had decent food. There’s no way I was going to eat there, I politely went to my car and drove back to Kreyol Delight.6/14/23 at 8:04am edited to respond: I am in no way affiliated with any other restaurants. As a business owner, instead of being defensive, listen to what customers are saying and improve. This is an opportunity to do better. Another option for Haitian food in the Tampa FL area is Family Cuisine of Tampa.

First off… I’ll start with the positive. In my opinion, the food is good and is fresh whenever I go to the restaurant.Other than that- The service is horrific. I have called numerous times throughout my time going to Alez restaurant to place an order… Only to arrive 30 to 40 minutes later and the food wasn’t ready. Inside, you can ALWAYS catch the guy up front on the phone taking myriads call to place a Haitian bollet for whoever is calling. After a while, I started to realize that the only reason that restaurant is still standing is because of so many people who call to play Haitian lottery- not the actual customers that come for the food. The reason why? There are hardly any customers there, no matter that day or time the place is always nearly empty so It’s fair to say that real money comes from lottery and not the food.I kept on giving them a try- partly to support my Haitian people and mainly because the office that I work at is not that far from Alez restaurant.Save yourself the time and go to Kreyol Restaurant instead- the people there are extremely professional, the food is good, the atmosphere is positive, and most importantly the paying customers for the food do not have to compete with the absence customers over the phone that needs to place $300 worth of Bollet.

Really good Haitian Restaurant. You can find all popular Haitian foods such as Rice and beans sauce, Rice and Beans, patty, fried plaintain, fried pork and much more. Prefect place to go for a real Haitian experience.

My hubby who is Haitian Ordered food over the phone was told one price, when I arrived and ordered the food I was told I was told it to be $5 more then what originally was quoted.Been warned by others this restaurant has this issue, and wanted to give them a shot!I ordered a plate of grio which usually comes with sauce, pikliz, and silverware and it had none of that. Grio was very fatty.I have been to multiple other Haitian restaurants and although the food was decent it was not to the standard the surrounding restaurants offer.Check out creole delight you won’t regret choosing them over here! Same prices, better quality, and bites you can’t stop going back to.

Go to creole delights save yourself the heart break of getting what you weren’t expecting.Hubby Ordered food over the phone from them for me, and they told him one price. Once I arrived, and they saw I was not Haitian they charged me more.Usually when you order Haitian food they include sauce for rice, Pikliz, and silverware. I had to go turn around and grab it after the fact.
