We were in Tampa running an errand, so we decided to Google Maps a Caribbean food place near where we were and picked this place from the list. It's a tiny to-go only little place in little strip center. However, the food was Big on flavor and cooked perfectly. We got the lg goat and the lg ox-tail. It was enough to feed 4 people and was delicious. We will definitely eat there again. Oh and I would've taken pictures, but we were eating like pigs before I thought about it!

The food is awesome. This is not a dine in establishment, and most often, they're super busy, so be prepared to wait (the food is worth the wait). Two of my favorite menu items are the jerk chicken and the island potato salad.
Daughter stopped in to get oxtails she's been there once and whomever was preparing her food I'm guessing assumed she wanted beans and she stated to the person that she don't eat beans she said he was very rude and told her to go somewhere else that was very unprofessional the food is good but you can't assume someone wants something usually when you go to a restaurant they ask you if you want certain things or your food a certain type of way

Absolutely the best Jamaican food in Tampa! The jerk chicken is juicy and so flavorful and the curry goat too. My husband couldn’t stop Mmmming while eating. Portions are big and everything, man and cheese, rice and peas, cornbread, cabbage amazing. Last time I had food this good, I was in Jamaica!! So glad we just found this place.

This place is a great example of "looks can be deceiving" because while the store might not be in the best area, the food is some of the best in town. I have been looking for some good jerk chicken in Tampa since I moved here and this place definitely made my list. It's clean, the owner is friendly, the food is hot and delicious, the portions are large, and it's clean! The more I eat at smaller establishments like this, the more I realize that cleanliness is hard to come by.For me, the jerk chicken was just a littleeee too salty. It does not taste salty at all, but my ears were definitely ringing a little bit after I ate it. That should not deter you at all. He gave me a ridiculous amount of food. The platter came with mac and cheese, rice, cornbread, and collard greens? I think. I wish the chicken had a little more of a char flavor on it, but it was amazing. Honestly, all of the food was just amazing and I could eat it all day. Make sure to ask for the scotch bonnet hot sauce to put on it before you leave if you like spicy food too. I also got one of the cakes he had, which I was not a massive fan of. The two options were pound cake and carrot cake, and I picked the pound cake. It was dry and kinda boring, but he doesn't make the cake himself I don't think. If I were you and wanted jerk chicken, I would come here. Repeatedly. I know I definitely willFood: 4/5Location: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 (Weird but I love it)Service: 5/5
