Every severely overpriced order is severely charred & gumbo taste like the paste u ate in kindergarten. When contacting Mgmt we were blown off & told to complain to the Grubhub vendor! I'm like "excuse me -Grubhub was not on that grill. They attempt to mimic many of Carrabbas/Olive Garden dishes, but they can't mimic the customer care & quality from their kitchen.

Stopped in here for an early dinner for the first time in years. Place hasn’t changed, but that’s not a bad thing. Food and service is still good. We only had appetizers (buffalo shrimp and grouper nuggets) but both were delicious. The fried nuggets were light and golden, not heavily fried and greasy like some places. Drink prices were decent as well. Only negative I can mention might be the parking. It wasn’t crowded when we went but at busy times, the lot gets full quickly and it’s not paved.

We made it before the dinner rush... No worries at all... Menu was excellent... Just don't ask for a drink that's not on the menu... You don't want to find out what they say Moscow mule is... Hence my review.

My mom and I go there often for oysters, fish tacos, and beer. We usually have Frank as our server, and he's awesome. This time Illy was on and she was fantastic - super friendly and helpful. Great place to go and sit on the patio and visit and chill.

I've pasted this place a few times, and I really didn't notice it. My daughter suggested that I had to try it,and raved about the food. She was absolutely correct! We were a party of 5 and waited for a table for approximately 35-40 minutes, I can't complain about the wait, because we were drinking at the bar and the place was packed with customers. Once seated, our waitress,Jersey let us know what the special's were, and since we studied the menu on our way over, we ordered our appetizers and locked in our dinner choices. Our appetizers came out were quickly devoured. We ordered the Calamari- lightly battered and perfectly fried $9.99, Oysters Rockerfeller- a dozen for $22.99, and Fried Gator Tail $11.99. We enjoyed all the appetizers. For dinner we ordered the Grouper Sandwich with sweet potato fries-the grouper was delicious, but the sweet potato fries were too sweet-$17.99, Crab legs and Shrimp platter with regular fries, delicious - $25.99, Firecracker Shrimp Tacos with fries, this was my dish, and I would absolutely order this again. The 2 soft tacos were loaded with so much shrimp, I could have made 2 more tacos from it-$12.99, the Snapper special with fries-$30.99,and another Grouper Sandwich with regular fries-$16.99.We ordered a cup of She Crap soup to dip our fries in-$7.00. Everyone raved about their dishes being very flavorful and delicious. For dessert,a slice of Banana Fosters Cheesecake, this was not a hit at all. The Carmel sauce and bananas were cold, and I expected it hot and on fire-$9.99, and lastly, a slice of their delicious Chocolate Cake-$8.99. Our server,Jersey, was great and really attentive to us and her other tables. I felt the prices of the dishes were fair,of market prices and plentiful.

Still Really GOOD! I have not been there in a year or so. Food and service was great. I had the New Orleans Gumbo...was authentic. I lived in NO for 4 years. The Grouper sandwich was perfect!

Best raw oysters I've had in any state, thank you for your oyster nights. Many entrees are so flavorful, some faves include fish dip, seafood cobb salad, stuffed grouper. If friends want seafood this is my first recommendation. Staff is usually great. Can be loud when busy/band is the only drawback.

This place is still as good as I remember. My son is on town for a little bit and he wanted gator tail. So the four of us decided to come to Ballyhoo. The only thing is there wasn't much meat for the gator tails, more breading than anything. However, the dinners we all got were still really good. We will be back again.

The service was great! We couldn't make up our minds to order and never once did our waitress seem aggravated nor did she try to rush us. Food was tasty and we really liked the overall atmosphere. We dined late on a Saturday evening.
