Dress code for this bar and all bars around this area is “read in between the lines” racist and homophobic. Be warned!!

I’ve been here 3 times so far and every single time, I leave veryyyy satisfied! The bartenders are very nice and accommodating! Their garlic parm wings are everything! And best of all, their drink prices are very affordable!

BE AWARE - Bartenders will add additional tip to your receipt. Contesting the charge with my credit card company. Fun venue but will be paying cash in the future. $12 for 2 beers not including tip.

I went here for a Gasparilla event here. I paid $116 for a ticket including fees. This ticket was for express reentry from 11am to 3am. They stopped allowing us to use our express reentry at 11pm. I paid for the ticket for a reason. There were also people entering and reentering for free after not paying cover or for a ticket. The drinking were 50% ice and 49% mixer. The outside bar was chaotic and there was essentially no seating unless you bought a table they definitely weren't in ADA compliance as well.

Unsure if anyone here has an IQ over 80. No one has any idea what’s going on. They overcharge for entry and can’t open on time.

its disgusting the way some of the bartenders treat customers! blonde girl who looks like shes in the gym all day every day looks a little older working on the right side of the main bar on 01/5/24 (and other dates i didn’t choose to write a review) will see you wait 20 minutes and blatantly ignore you! after waiting 20 minutes she comes and says “what can I get for you” and in the middle of me literally SPEAKING she turns and walks away to take someone’s else’s order.. After waiting an entire 20 minutes? When there wasn’t many people at the bar. the camera should be ran back to see how they treat good paying customers to be honest. I will write a negative review every single time this happens again.

The bartender Amanda is disrespectful. She would rather help people basically leaning over the bar , aggressively waving a credit card in her face instead of people waiting over 10 minutes+ patiently.Seemed very bias and lowkey racist as I skimmed the bar of who she would go to.Not one to pull that card, but have to call it when you see it. Especially working in the service industry.I never give negative reviews, but this one deserved it .

We hit BarHWRD on a recent Saturday night, the place is a definite vibe. Great drinks and music. The staff make the experience great, super friendly (and pretty) bartenders, the security guard named Ben looks out of central casting for a tough muscle guy, but was actually super nice as well. We will definitely be back next time I'm in town. This is the place to be for great atmosphere made better by good drinks, food and people

Broke Curly hair blonde Bartender was so rude. I was trying to close out and told her my last name and she was giving me the dirtiest look. Not my fault you’re working Saturday night at a bar in spandex.

Great deals on chicken wings every Thursday. (But you can probably find better quality wings somewhere else). They will also offer great deals on drinks, 4$ margaritas, etc., but are all watered down. Not even worth it. PLUS every tournament game is biased. The employees (bartenders) that are supposed to run the “tournament games” they facilitate are letting “regulars” run the event. WHICH IS FYI biased from the beginning, because they technically let people play and think that they’re playing a fair tournament…but the regulars that facilitate the game obviously win at the end. So don’t waste your time joining whatever tournament they post on their instagram. It can be deceiving because of the prices they offer such as BUCS tix, PS4, etc. When we tried to talk to the girl bartender that works every Wednesday night, she got so defensive saying she’s too busy to keep up with the tournament when there’s only less than 6 teams (of TWO). I’m not sure why Bar HWRD management is being so careless, letting bartenders decide that regular bar goers can facilitate a bar event they host. This is bad for business.

The ginger security guard was racist, and drinking on the job , that was enough to not go in there

I didn't try the food here I just went for a night out with my friends but it is definitely one of my favorite places in Soho. They have an inside and outside area which is really nice. They also played really good music, songs that most people would know and that were good to dance to. It does get packed in there but it is pretty spacious. The drinks were also not too crazy expensive, a high noon was $6

Always a fun time but the CC charges are always suspicious. Someone is definitely stealing money using the tip line. It's happened several times before, so last time I went, I made sure to check every transaction and none of them went over $100. Sure enough, credit card says $101 on the last one of the night. This alone will make me convince my group to go elsewhere. Not that it'll effect this place whatsoever. Just done with it.
