We were headed to Red Bowl Authentic Szechuan Chinese Cuisine, which is next door. But closed on Tuesdays. We headed to Beijing House and it was delicious. We travel over and hour to get good Asian food. Now it will be difficult to decide which restaurant to visit. We enjoyed our entire lunch from atmosphere to service to the food. All very exceptional.

The food here is incredible! New favorite Chinese restaurant. We have tried the short rib griddle, chicken with peppers, general tso’s chicken, Kung pao chicken, and the fried dumplings. Everything has been delicious!

I had three $8.95 lunches ( at one seating) , Mongolian Beef, Griddle Cooked Chicken, and Sesame Chicken . They all were so delicious - Plus each came with a free soda and a large lo mein.In my humble opinion, the best Chinese lunch special in the Tampa Bay area( I tried more than thirty). Our waitress was a treasure, explaining the preparations and taking special requests.Xie xie to
The food was amazing! And the ambiance was great too. It did not take long for them to serve too.

This has to be the worst Asian food I have tasted. I ordered egg fried rice, garlic shrimp. The egg fried rice has uncooked peas and I could count 8 peas in the entire bowl. The carrots was 9 small cubes. The rice was half white and half soy sauce. They did not cook this...they just threw these ingredients into a bowl and mixed it...it was barely cooked. The garlic shrimp was made like a bbq sauce instead of garlic...HOW HOW HOW..can you get that wrong. On top of which, the server said.."they stopped cooking garlic shrimp at 4pm"...I'm ordering at 5.30pm-ish btw.On top of all this...the food was expensive AF.Stay away from this place.

I had originally been taken to the Fletcher St. Beijing House a year ago by a colleague who is originally from China. She knew all the dishes to order and I was spirited away to a land of flavor, texture and aroma like none I had ever experienced. Mapo tofu, spicy short ribs, eggplant and veggies in gravy, spicy wontons.... We ate until near bursting and I have longed for it ever since. Well we both just visited the new location on Fowler and were a little worried it might not live up to our original impressions but it was equally fantastic, and in an even warmer, modern setting. Peach tea, spicy eggplant, fried calamari, spicy pork belly in chile sauce...UNREAL. A flavor train like you have never ridden awaits.
