I was looking forward to trying Brio's tonight. My wife and I were out on a date night and I thought Brio's would be great place to eat. Boy, was I wrong. In our four years of living in the Tampa Bay Area, this was the worst dining experience we have had, pretty much in every way. The service was horrendous. We saw our waitress once until there was a problem. We never received the drinks we ordered. Our dinner was brought out but my order was wrong. They left my wife's salmon which she then ate by herself while I waited for my meal. My wife loves salmon. She didn't finish it. Not that it was bad, but because it was just ok. Very little flavor. I did have a caesar salad, and it was ok. Bread, ok, which is too bad, because it was all I had to eat for most of my bill. Waitress finally comes over after my wife has eaten half of her meal and tells us they brought the food to the wrong table. Glad to know this, but it didn't really do anything. She was not apologetic at all. My shrimp and scallop risotto finally arrived, after my wife was done eating. This dish was one of the main reasons I picked this restaurant. I told another dad from the prom group my daughter was a part of tonight about it, that is how much I was looking forward to trying it. Sadly, it was pretty much awful. There were three small shrimp and a small clump of the tiniest bay shrimp I had ever seen. There were the size of a M&M. One part of the risotto was spicy, the other end had truffle oil, and the clump of scallops was in the middle. The rice was unevenly cooked. My first attempt at risotto at home was far, far better and I am not the best cook. Terrible plating, no cream sauce as described, little protein, uneven flavor, and they didn't even mix the seasonings. It was bad. Equally bad was the premium side of gnocchi we ordered. ZERO flavor, the cheese on top was all clumped in one small area. Our waitress never came to check on our food. In fact, after waiting 15 minutes from the time I was finished with my meal, we had to ask another waiter for our check. When our waitress finally brought the check, she didn't ask anything about out meal, or express any regret about the issue with the food. The decor of the restaurant was nice, but the volume was very, very high. My wife was siting right next to me and it was hard to talk. Brio isn't the most expensive Italian restaurant, but it certainly isn't cheap. I expected much, much more, especially given the reviews. It was loud, and the service and food were not good in any way. Tonight was by far the worst culinary experience of my time in Tampa. Something I was excited about turned out to be a big bummer.

My wife was a waitress in college and my daughter works as a server. I usually tip 25% because I appreciate what they do. This was the first time in years I have tipped 10% and our waitress didn't even deserve that. The decor of the restaurant was nice, but the volume was very, very high. Anthony was incredibly professional as he went to tables to see how their service was. He took the time to talk to everyone and made us feel welcomed. He was very generous and I would go back just to have him as our server. Thank you Anthony!

I had a wonderful time at my recent visit to Brio. The food was incredible (I had Pasta Alla Vodka w/a chopped salad). The service was fast but didn’t feel rushed and our waitress Gabby was very nice and extremely attentive. I will be visiting again soon! Also the manager Anthony came by our table to check on us and he was great too!

Always a really great choice! Solid food, great service and just a nice place. We flew back into gown and did t want to risk a lousy meal so Brio was a no-brainer! My pasta ala vodka with chicken and my wife's creamy pasta dish were excellent. Don't skip the warm sourdough bread!!

I was fortunate enough to have found Brio as a venue to celebrate my baby shower. The entire process was great! From booking, choosing menu options etc. The manager, Joe was wonderful and so accommodating to us and all of our shower decor and set up requests. Glenda, Manny, Kim and Todd were excellent and kept all the guests well taken care of! I am so appreciative of the Brio team and all they did to ensure the special celebration went well. The food was delicious, the space was the perfect size and it was such a memorable day. Thank you again!

We were here for a private event. The food was good and served family style. Plenty to eat for the main course. A little skimpy on the dessert.

Nice restaurant near Tampa International Airport. Started with sourdough bread - the crust was ridiculously hard and almost inedible, although the inside was very tasty. Next, we ordered the Margherita Flatbread, with a cracker thin crust, and was really good. We then got the Shrimp Risotto with Black Pepper Cream Sauce. The risotto was excellent, but it does have a real kick with the black pepper. Overall, it was a very nice lunch!

Our server, Sarah, was absolutely delightful! Some of the other staff, like the hostess and other servers, seemed very disinterested, but Sarah made up for their failures and turned our experience around. Thanks, Sarah!

Nice and clean establishment. The staff were friendly and personable, which is always a plus. They were very accommodating. All of the food was impeccable. This place is now in my top 5!My drink was perfectly made (I had an old fashion), and my food was perfectly seasoned and cooked! If you like Lamb chops, you have to try theirs. It comes with some small portion of spinach. You guys, I don't know what they seasoned that spinach with, but I can go back just to eat a bowl of it by itself!!! The calamari and my entree, the grilled salmon fresca, my friends entree, the lobster and shrimp fettuccine, were all VERY flavorful and filling!!!!And let me tell yall about that damn caramel mascarpone Cheesecake!!!!! We had already decided if we didn't like it, we were heading to the cheesecake factory to get a slice. They shut us all the way up... what the heck is a cheesecake factory lol? That was the best freaking cheesecake ever! It wasn't thick and heavy feeling, and the flavor was unexplainable. After writing this review, I think I'm going back this weekend!!This place is a must go!BRAVO BRIO ??????Features: Masks are not required to enter.
