Excellent food and service! Beautiful little spot with a cute outdoor eating area under a giant tree. Food is fresh and very tasty. They serve everything the British way which is great. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing for dessert!

Third straight wonderful lunch at this cozy spot! Creative, tasty salads; excellent panini; perfect fish & chips. Prepared and served by husband and wife team with a smile. Love it.

The food is prepared fresh and with love. We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and watching the chef work. Everything tasted great! We ordered four appetizers and two entrees and a drink and still our bill was under $100. I can recommend the goulash, french fries, mushrooms, chicken soup, calamari and wasabi sauce, and the spicy deviled eggs. The mushrooms were AMAZING! The hospitality is kind as patient. There is a lot of love cooked in every dish. One word of advice: MAKE RESERVATIONS. Enjoy!

Cute little family-owned restaurant on Westshore. We came here for lunch. You can eat inside or outside, but it was chilly, so we opted to eat inside. The food is European cafe style food. They have their regular menu that includes paninis, salads, and some British comfort foods. They also have weekly specials (their website lists these, if you want to check it out beforehand).I had the Mediterranean chicken salad and an iced tea. My husband had the steak panini.Food is made to order, so we waited a while, but the wait was reasonable (we finished our meal in well under an hour). My husband scarfed down his panini and also drank up his soup (cream of butternut squash) and left very satisfied. I liked my chicken salad but given the cold day regretted not ordering something hot. Next time!I look forward to returning for dinner with my family and a bottle of wine from our cellar.

A hidden gem in Tampa. The restaurant was so romantic and beautiful. The food tasted delicious and fresh. The devil eggs was to die for and the Shepard’s pie was so delicious for a good cook night in Florida. There was outside seatings and inside. The tea here was amazing and tasted so refreshing. Highly recommend if you’re in the Tampa area.

So have you ever strolled into a restaurant and get like you had some else's mom cook for you? Well that's the vibe here . The food is made in front of you and the people that run the spot are very nice. You'll feel at home right away and when you take a bite of your food .... You'll be very happy lol. The food here makes you feel good. So the beef bourguignon is something like a beef stew with some light alcohol notes from the wine. It's perfectly cooked out so you get a subtle hint which doesn't overpower the dish. Very good and just proper :)Shepherds pie was a thing of dreams , potatoes, cheese, ground beef and a savory sauce that would make anything delicious. One of the best shepherds pies I've had and makes me feel like like I'm at a pub in the uk even though I've never been. Excellent The toffee bread pudding is a nice way to cap off the meal , a sponge texture with a hot toffee sauce that soaks into it. Just make sure to workout the day of or after you eat this thing. Till then I love you all and thank you for reading Highly recommend cafe European

Have loved this restaurant and the family owners since 1996, despite moving locations. Great food and personable and caring people.

I love this place...and my review is long overdue. Cafe European serves up delicious homestyle cooking in a cozy setting. It reminds me of restaurants back in the northeast. I love that they have weekly specials...you'll always be able to find something new and interesting on the menu. And the desserts are amazing! It's also BYOB so be prepared. Reservations are definitely recommended but not required. Definitely check it out!!!

Hidden gem! At least to us! Seems like everyone else knows about it, but we're so glad we went! We will definitely be back. European comfort food plus amazing specials. I had the Sea Bass special and my husband had the Coq a Vin. Our kids had the fish and chips and loved them! Great service, thank you!

I left a message this afternoon asking if I could pick up dinner this evening. Susie called and said that would be fine. Promptly at 5:30 they had everything ready. My husband and I shared the small plate of perfectly seared Ahi tuna, he enjoyed his delicious Halibut and my Spring risotto was equally good. We had a lovely Valentine dinner at home this evening. Thank you.
