Wonderful lunch at Chanta. I had sarma (stuffed cabbage roll) and my husband had a breaded pork schnitzel. Homemade bread, excellent and reasonably priced wines and delicious dessert. Service was outstanding. Wonderful "old world" European atmosphere. Unlike many other local restaurants - one is not assaulted by blaring big screen TVs!

Had a 6 pm reservation tonight. Got there at 6 pm to find 4 dirty tables outside. Manager & outside server very rude. Waited 15 minutes and nobody cleared any of the dirty tables or seated us. Extremely poor experience

This evening I made it to the restaurant with 6 minutes to spare before closing. The two servers working were incredible. Nick my server told me what to order and even gave me a fantastic dessert recommendation. My wine was fantastic! My phone had died and they graciously charged my phone while I ate! I felt so at home!

I wanted to come on here and give this restaurant 5 stars. The service was great! Not long wait times and very nice people! The Romanian Doughnut was very good as well. At first we were hesitant to try a new cuisine but I’m so glad we did! The food, service, and manner of the staff as well as the restaurant environment were top notch! Will definitely go again when in Tampa!!
This was our first time dining at Chanta. The food was okay but not fantastic. Our server was doing just enough to get by. I wasn't offered any dressing for my salad so I had to eat it dry. If our server had checked with us after our food was served, that problem could have been avoided. I just couldn't give any higher rating in view of these facts.
A great experience. Old world charm in a great location close to downtown Tampa. Some of the best lamb chops I ever had. The kitchen was just a little slow but we had a great waitress that gave good wine options. Will definitely be back!

Best food I have had in Tampa, if not ANYWHERE. Food was amazing. Service was incredible: daughter of the owner served us and she knew EVERYTHING about the menu. The changes we made were greeted with a smile. She is not only a gorgeous young lady and one of the best servers that I can remember, but it is evindent that she loves the reastaurant.I saw so many things on the menu that I want to try, but I doubt that I will ever be able to not re-order the same entre and desert that I ordered last night. Hopefully my date is willing to try other items so taht I can at least have a bite of other incredible dishes.My only complaint is against anyone who placed less than 5 stars review across the board on this place. Let's just say that if you know one of these poeple who left less than 5 starts, I would be more than happy to refer them to my doctor as they obviously need help.

Very nice dinner with friends! Only fault was we couldn't make reservations for 8. When we got there they would not put 2 tables of 4 together. It was very crowded then either!
