The man behind the counter seemed nice, but he didn’t allow us to sit inside and only offered outdoor seating to us when it was 90+ degrees outside. There were plenty of tables and chairs inside and the place was completely empty, but the chairs and tables were all stacked on top of each other. I felt he did this because I had 6 children with me and he didn’t want to clean up the mess. We didn’t even finish the ice cream/cookie dough because it started melting immediately when we got outside and my kids were all complaining of the mess it made all over them. I also had an infant with me and felt that made it even more rude that he made us sit outside. We won’t be going back. I drove 40 minutes to this place and would not have went in the first place if it was outdoor seating only.

So dang good!!!!! I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile now and finally took the kids in for a treat! We LOVED it so much!! Can't wait to go back and bring friends!

Stopped in here for the first time and asked to sample the sugar dough. I was told by the employee that "they aren't doing samples at this time." Not sure what that meant - doing samples 30 mins before close or just at all. I've never heard a ice cream shop not allowing customers to sample. The employee said if I didn't like it, I can return it. I bought the cookies & cream ice cream with sugar cookie dough and it was horrible. I asked for my money back and the employee asked me if I wanted to try something else! Huh? Now you want to ask me if I want to TRY something else? Y'all just wasting massive amounts of food? It's giving just bad vibes. This is so backwards. I will never be returning.

I visited Dough Nation on a Thursday afternoon to get a few servings for my office to share: I decided on two regular sized cups ($7) of cookie dough and did two flavors a cup. They were able to do both flavors side by side even though initially they were just going to layer them which I thought was strange. I went with, sweet and salty, red velvet, sugar cookie and ginger snap. I think. Red velvet and ginger snap were the office favorites but they were all good! Bonus, my office moved and this place is around the counter so we will be picking up treats here often! I really like that you can take home cookie dough and indulge over time instead of melting ice cream!

From the clever name and all puns intended ("dough nation"= donation and also they have various cookie "dough" options) to the unique approach to their menu. All profits go to (a good cause) aide homelessness and families at risk here in Tampa. They offer various cookie dough flavors to enjoy alone or accompanied with ice cream. However, that is not all their menu has to offer! They also sell cookies, cakes, milkshakes, coffee and of course the cookie dough variety and ice cream! I opted for the sweet & salty cookie dough and the gator tracks ice cream flavor and OMG! I had never had the combination of cookie dough underneath a scoop of ice cream. I ate and enjoyed every last bite. Service was amazing! Since it was my first time here they explained the process and their menu thoroughly! Fortunately I was the only one there at the time i ordered so I didn't hold up a line, because I had questions lol. So happy I stumbled upon this place on yelp. As I previously mentioned, I love everything about this business and intend on coming back as often as possible! Lastly, I cannot exclude how beautiful the aesthetic of this place is. Highly recommend it! There is a lot of parking directly in front of the business as well as adjacent to it in the shopping center it's located in.

Great customer service ! We went here on our current search for odd ice cream creations and flavors around Tampa bay and had the Havana Dream in a sugar cookie ice cream sandwich topped with caramel drizzle and fruity pebbles. The sweet lady who served us went above and beyond and had fantastic customer service, good recommendations from the menu options and a warm personality. She also made us 2 great lattes with almond milk (they have 3 non dairy options). Brought our toddler and it was a very cute spot to stop not far from the Zoo so is a great place for families to stop in. ?????
