The arepas are sososo good! And the chicken empanadas are soo good too! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the iced coffees too, super delicious and affordable overall! Clean environment with Latino music that reminds me of my childhood, and service was nice. We will be back :)

Food is good for traditional Columbia's taste. I came in for just yuca rolls but ended up with breakfast & a new real meal home. The prices are great (low to moderate) & the service is good. Parking could be a little better when it's lunchtime because they share a lot with a thrift store next door. I'm more familiar with Cuban than Columbian cafes but this feels about right. Especially when I'm searching for breakfast or lunch. Traditional Columbian flare my dear.

I went today with some friends to try their food, in the photos everything looks very delicious, but my dish, especially the meat, was very cooked, the rice was simple and I ordered ripe and almost burnt bananas, my friends' food had a piece of paper, we didn't take photos, but I think it is necessary for the kitchen to be more careful, because the waiters are very kind and attentive. Incredible little gem. We were actually just going to the thrift store next door but were hungry to stopped in. SO GLAD we did. Legitimately the best Lengua I’ve had (#15 on the menu) Lovely staff, authentic amazing food. Highly recommend ?

Been in here a few times. Food is good. Presentation is pretty mediocre. Like, you'll get just a piece of meat on an empty plate. Worst part is the service. You'll come in an stand there for 15 minutes and get ignored. Last night the "waiter" made eye contact with me like 5 times while I stood there, seemingly doing ANYTHING other than seating me. I eventually just left. Similar experience last time too. May be communication barrier because the clientele is predominately Columbian.

On Friday February 2nd, 2024 we arrived very early at the Cafetal with the expectation of having a good breakfast and we decided to wait for them to open, the owner arrived and entered, leaving the door open, I searched the website and it said they opened at 8am, at 8: 01, my husband and I entered and the owner in a very bad way told us that we are still closed, she did not even offer us to sit down and wait a few minutes, her attitude and attitude was very ostensible and in very bad taste, one of her employees made us a gesture as if they couldn't stand it and so we decided to get out of there and look for another place where people are happy to have a job and are willing to serve! 0 recommended this place!
