Not a sit down, came in there to meet. My mother decided to leave lady was not very friendly and I wanted to have some coffee. They don't give refills we were going to eat there, but I decided to go down the street. I stood there at the counter to ask her if she had some soup, after about four minutes, she came out and help the other gentleman that was came in after me. I won't be back.

Was visiting from out of town and gave this spot a try...it did NOT disappoint. I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing. Also very affordable. The pork platter cost $10. Lady behind the counter was sweet. More of a casual, take-out restaurant

I’m from Tampa. Spent my entire life here. I have made it my buisness to know the little “hole in wall” local places. This is exactly that. I used to come here all the time years ago. It’s been quite some time so when I moved back to this area I was eager to find out if this place survived the pandemic. Thank god it did. The cafe con leche is buttery and creamy. The Cuban toast is crunchy and soft on the inside. The food is awesome and authentic. The service is informal but I don’t mind that at all. The prices I believe are the best part. This isn’t the place that will run you 20$ for a coffee and sandwich. Ive been coming here for years and will continue to for as long as I can. I recommend

El Paraiso Cafe was a small and fast place for service. It's located next to an industrial plant so they get lots of clientele. I arrived with a friend of mine and we were served despite this and they prepared it quickly and efficiently. I didn't get to try what my friend had but I I ordered three empanadas and paid for my friends meal too along with 2 cans of coke. It came out to a total of 17 dollars so that wasn't bad at all since the other food item was a large breakfast bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The atmosphere was good and felt homely! It was a little dirty near the front door but then again, there were workers coming in and taking dirt from the worksite nextdoor. The food was tasty without being greasy and I recommend that others try this place if they are nearby and looking for a snack!G

This is the cliche’ run down mom and pop little place with exceptionally good food! Looks can be deceiving and in this case that is absolutely true. I stopped by for lunch, the food is fresh, and drool worthy, but the service is a little slow. Totally worth the wait though. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban food in Tampa this is the place.

It's a very small hole in the wall restaurant with very good food. There's nothing special to look at, just eat.

If you looking for excellent food for a fair price this is your place. Forget about how look from outside, if the reason of your visit is have a good lunch or meal, you arrived to the place. I tried white rice, black beans with beef with olives with tomato sauce and yuca. The place is clean inside and have a very friendly staff. This place is recommended. I'll back again for my lunch. Love it.Vegetarian options: No much to choose than a regular veggies salad.

Amazing!! Everything is so flavorful, the best red beans I've ever had. Yuka & mojo was full of flavor & cooked to perfection! Plenty of food for an amazing price. Highly recommend & will be back!
