Food was just average, at best. I had tortolini - could have been a frozen dish. My guests - college kids - seemed OK with their orders. I am used to fine dining Italian and Forbici was more like Italian street food. Way too noisy. Tables too close. Way over hyped in my opinion.

The food and service were very good. We sat outside as we hoped for a quieter area than indoors but two tables nearby each had dogs with them and there was a lot of barking which doesn't provide the best ambiance for a nice dinner. I blame the dog owners, not the restaurant. We will be dining again in less than four weeks at this restaurant. We loved the ability to order half orders of pasta so we could try several items. They all turned out to be delicious. The salads were great as was the bread basket. Can't wait to return!

Michael was one of the best servers we've ever had! Through several courses he made excellent suggestions and was prompt with bringing our food out and refilling drinks. Will definitely be back!

Margherita pizza was awesome. Order the round size. Not too much bread. We had Erica salad and 12 calabrian chicken wings and cavatelli pomodoro. Well balance meal for 4 pax.

Service was good. But the actual dish was bland. Like they make it for the mass, nothing special or authentic.I ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich, I requested the cheese not be melted as I love cold cheese, just something I like but chef still melted it.It is just an ordinary place but in an area one would think is more sophisticated.Parking: Just know the area is a business district but there are free parking garages. If in a hurry probably not the area to go to.

We've eaten here many times; today is Easter Sunday so it was very busy and while our server was very nice; I can always feel when a server is feeling rushed and it translates over to the diner, and I felt it immediately. It's off-putting. The food was OK today and while I don't enjoy huge portions; I felt they were a bit underwhelming today and the value to meal ratio didn't equal one another.

The pizza place offers better food and service on weekdays compared to weekends. The fungi pizza was exceptional on the weekend, while the fiore pizza was just okay on a Saturday. Overall, weekdays provide a superior dining experience.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Saw the recent “pizza review” and gave it a shot. This place lived up to the hype! Solid food. Vibes are excellent and the staff is awesome. My wife and I will definitely be back. Our new favorite spot!

Bolognese was delicious! Craft cocktails were fairly priced and just as good!

Picked up a large square Margherita pizza. Pizza is a large rectangle. It's kinda like a Detroit/ Sicilian hybrid style but very light and airy. I thought it good ,but flavors are not overly abundant. For $26, there isn't enough cheese or sauce on it.The other food on the menu looked very appetizing and maybe a dine in experience would be better overall.Nice atmosphere inside, very friendly staff.Biggest caveat is parking if you just doing take out. It's a very trendy and busy area, street parking is limited and I ended up parking a few streets away which was an inconvenience. The pizza itself, I'd rate it a 7.2.

We had a fantastic dinner at Forbici tonight! We did have a bit of a wait, during which we had a chance encounter with Jeff, one of the partners, about the importance of serving good cocktails. He was so friendly! It definitely started the evening off on a positive note. We were eventually seated at the long table near the bar with Katie, who took fantastic care of us. We tried a few of the drinks-the gimlet, the marg with the cinnamon salt and espresso martinis— and all were delicious. In addition to the artisan bread appetizer, we enjoyed the mussels, the mushroom ravioli, the salsiccia pizza and the proteina grain bowl. All were fabulous and the environment made for a wonderful night. Good restaurants are busy and this one is definitely worth the wait.

Really terrific pizza, however almost every worker I interacted with acted uninterested and like they did not want to be there. I stood at the host stand when I went to pick up my order and the people up front just kept looking at me. Didn’t say hold on give me on second, nothing like that. Then when I went back to the pick up station, more people just looked at me without asking if I needed help or anything like that. I had to interrupt the people up front to tell me where to go, and then I had to interrupt the nice lady working by herself in the back. Even though there was a man in a grey polo who looked like a manager talking to a younger server, and none of them greeted me when I said hello. If your egos are that high less than an hour after Dave Portnoy posts his review of your restaurant to where you can’t properly assist normal customers, I really don’t think you deserve all that recognition.

Food was nicely presented, but serving size was disappointing. A large salad was too small, evidencing cutbacks.Service was friendly but slow, like they forgot you were there. No one checked on us. Water refill came only with the final bill. The atmosphere was cool. It’s a “go to” place in an attractive upscale mall. You can sit outside or in.
