Hemingway Cuban was not good. La Fritas on the other hand, the yuka fries and the Croquettes were great. Mango sangria did not taste of mango.

Waiting the food to do a review only about the food, but the antipathy of the attendant was so extreme that probably even if the sandwich is amazing I will not return here. I was polite and humble, was my first time and I was in doubt about which sandwich to pick. I asked about the Hemingway and she replied "it is cuban" impatient and her mood is so disgusting that I feel really uncomfortable and embarrassed.. This happened Tuesday March 25th 7:30pm

If you want a a cuban sandwich, it is much better to go elsewhere. The cuban here is good in size, but lacks in taste. The portion between pork and ham and other ingredients is off balance. It is unfortunate to have to pay $16 for this sandwich when you can get an amazing cuban (Media Noche) at Aguila's not too far away. I would try one of the other establishments in the Heights, there is plenty of great food there.

I've been looking for the best Cuban sandwich in the area and this took the first spot by just a hair, very very good, could of used a little bit more mustard but I was very impressed and happy! I will keep looking for better, but this one will be tough to beat and I will definitely go back!

The young woman who took our order was borderline rude. Zero personality. As we were eating (sub par food) an older gray haired woman was behind the counter in the food prep area eating a sandwich dropping food from it as she ate. This was in full view to us as we sat at the bar. She was doing this as others were preparing food for customers. She then began licking her fingers?. I was so disgusted that I stopped eating immediately. She never washed her hands before continuing to prepare food. $48 later…..I (we) will never return.

So glad we checked this place out! Service was top notch, great recommendations. We tried a little bit of everything and all of it was delicious!!! Loved the breakfast Cuban with guava glazed crispy pork belly, WOW. Big portions and the coffee was yummy as well! Will be back.

Armature is pretty pricey when it comes to food. One of the restaurants that almost hits its value is Hemingway's Cuban kitchen. A fantastic Cuban sandwich and I loved the rice and beans. The atmosphere around armature works is where it's at. Very good.

Service was friendly and took fair amount of time to be served but place was busy. I was not "wowed" at all by the black bean burger. It was pretty dry and bland to be honest. But the tostado fries were good as well as the shrimp tostones. 4/5 stars.
