This bar is simply incredible! The drinks are so well crafted and delicious. The bartenders are great and the service is top notch. We go at least once every two weeks during the weekend. The drinks might be pricey for some people but I guarantee that is totally worth it!

The bar is amazing, I went my first night in Tampa and met professional salsa dancers who gave a quick tutorial and then argued about why the eagles suck over sazeracs. There’s a divers crowd but good energy. Mikey and Tito really made the night special. Mikey does something magical behind the bar and Tito let my friend and I request a few songs. Definitely recommend if you want a somewhere that can make a good drink w cool ppl

This place is a must visit when in Tampa. Great vibes and some of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Just tell Michael what flavors you like or what drinks you usually go for and not only will he prepare something tailored to your taste but also take the time to explain everything he used to make it.

This used to be a wonderful bar, and the drinks are still terrific, but just had one $30 drink on a Sunday afternoon and had to endure three songs, each of which discussed the merits of "niggers". Truly bizarre ambiance.

Michael served me the best cocktail OF MY LIFE, based on a short description of my preferred flavor profile. Truly an artist in his field—he took the time to understand what I was looking for and had a craft cocktail prepared in less than two minutes. He was able to tell and show me what sets Hotel Bar apart from the competition and needless to say, I’m won over. Ask him about the “No Fly List” drink, you won’t be disappointed.

Been coming here since the place opened. Always great cocktails, but today was above and beyond. Sat at the bar, looked up at the booze wall and saw a bottle of Cynar, which I've always wanted to try. I asked Mikey the mixologist if he could make something rum-based with Cynar. After thinking for a couple minutes, he invented a *delicious*, complex, yet well-balanced drink. I truly enjoyed it. Excellent experience, thank you.

Met a friend here after a work meeting at the Hilton across the street. I had their espresso martini, which was made with tequila. It was one of the best that I have had. It was a great recommendation. The cocktails were great. They even had a great happy hour. The servers were attentive. We had such a great experience, we decided to return later in the evening. The servers greeted us like old friends. I will definitely be returning.

My sister and I had the pleasure of being served by Kaysaan last night. I walked right up to the bar and told him what I liked and he made the perfect cocktail for us. Such a great bar presence, he makes eye contact with every new person that walks up to the bar and does not rush when making drinks, he makes them correct!!! I will be back to see him soon!
