yes! a special place! needs better music! Bring me to a surreptious location, play mysterious music to match the mood! You can get hip hop/rap everywhere. You CAN'T get this ambience in many places... Other than that, perfect!

Thank you Ivy, Casey, and everyone else at Jekyll for an amazing birthday night! Everything was perfect, and they went out of their way to make it a special night. Amazing service, and we had some of our favorite drinks tonight! We can’t wait to come back.

Hidden speakeasy. The bar/restaurant/concept itself is cool, but everything else was disappointing. The drinks were not good and very expensive, the food was not good, and the server took forever to acknowledge us and to follow up with us.

Went with a group of friends for a birthday. We were all so excited for this experience and had reservations booked weeks in advance. Our service was the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time! Server took first round order and scooped up the menus - not even leaving 1 on the table. Never really took empty drinks off the table when dropping the next round. The drinks are really cool and you’re paying a premium for the experience of the cocktail itself however the server never explained the cocktails. Even left 3 times before actually staying the tea infused drink. That drink took 10 mins or so before actually being able to drink. One person got some drink with a tiny spoon that came without the missing infusion bottles and it was all ridiculous.Music was not fitting for the speakeasy scene. Singing gangsters paradise and Eminem was strange for almost a bougie Alice in wonderland theme. With a large group we offered to let the server off the bat who was who on which check and he completely dismissed us saying he got it. Dropped the check as 1 and left. This was the biggest problem! Then it room over an hour to fix the check issues with the manager brandon. Someone in our party noticed there is an automatic 20% gratuity applied which was unacceptable with the lowest level of service our group has ever received. Note that we don’t go out as a big group and not set a server up for success and he declined. The server did not even do the bare minimum to even deserve a tip. Also note this establishment tip pools so clearly they need as a group to figure it out and ensure the weak link if pulling their weight.Management and servers need to understand people come here for a unique experience and it was fully tainted in every way possible. Our group probably would’ve ordered more drinks if the server was remotely attentive. While the manager was trying to make things right he still wasn’t hitting the mark until we asked if you were in our shoes what would you want to be done in this instance. That’s when he kinda got it.Overall - not sure exactly why the server did NOT want to serve our group the moment we walked through the door. I have some thoughts but I won’t blast it online. To note: the server never felt any remorseto take ownership nor apologized. In fact he was laughing and having a great time behind the bar during the hour long awfulness it took to straighten out HIS mess.

What started as an exciting new spot turned to be an underwhelming and disappointing addition to Hyde Park. There was so much hype behind making your reservation, saying the code word and reading through the elaborate menu. However, the service fell flat. We scheduled a reservation for a birthday weeks out and ordered one drink each then told it was last call, the desserts were no longer available and given our check all within 40 minutes of sitting down when they communicated more than once that we had 1.5 hours for our reservation more (and according to their website they were still operating for another 2 hours+).Extremely disappointing and overpriced waste of 40 minutes. Choose any other Hyde Park establishment before this one.

If the speakeasy allure in this venue is "the kind Dr Jekyll" the prices here are the "sinister Mr Hyde."The music, vibe, real estate, lighting and overall ambience mismatch the outlandish prices you have to pay for the somewhat interesting, decent tasting craft cocktails that this place offers. The loud music which seemed to come off of someone's YouTube auto hip-hop playlist was as awful and out of place as the $10 per drink up-charge.For a place I didn't expect to be all that inexpensive, I certainly expected a little more class. Jekyll misses the mark, remiscent of a decked out Volkswagen posing as a Bentley. Good people though, and very cool book menu!

Let me start by saying the drinks are great, the atmosphere and concept are cool, however the service level was terrible. We were a party of 10 and once we got seated we notified the server that we wanted to split amongst couples, and the server said that’s not necessary we’ll figure it out at the end. Upon asking for the check, the server brought one check with everything on it indicating a party of 4 at the top of it, and said “you can figure it out for yourselves and split among different cards”. After about a couple minutes of trying to figure it out we handed back and asked if he could split it to each individual seat. We sat there for over an hour watching checks come back that were still incorrect. Brendon the manger stepped in to help but it still took a very long time and this all could have been avoided. We had to ask for compensation because just getting the checks correct was all that was done. We will not be back. Sorry.

An amazing place. The setting is straight from the old days and easy to imagine what the old speakeasy's must have been like. Beautiful setting, comfortable, cozy booths, romantic. The photo if of our drinkgs and the ceiling. The drinks are presented with great flair at the table and they taste wonderful. I was left wondering if the staff are all owners as they take such pride and care in everything they do. Very friendly, helpful in reading the menu and watching for clues of the drinks that can be ordered. It's a must go to if you are in Tampa. Only minutes from downtown Tampa.

This is a speakeasy, so there’s not a full food menu, so make dinner plans before or after. The drinks are freaking awesome!!! And if you need a little something to snack on get the bagel with Lox and caviar!!My wife and love this place! Last time I was there they had old school hip hop playing, made it feel like I was in an underground bar in NYC. Super cool vibe

Love this place so much, I went on a Monday and I was treated wonderfully from beginning to end. I went with four other people, and we came at a time where the bar was pretty full. Coming in through the bagel shop was a fun experience and a nice touch to a night that would be filled with surprises. The woman at the front brought us welcome aperol spritz shots, and they were quite yummy! The service from the bagel shop was awesome and they were very friendly to my group. When we went in, Robbie was our server, and he was awesome. It did take some time to get our drinks, but it seemed like Robbie was busy being the only server in the place for the night. Despite it being quite busy, everyone was attentive and made sure that we were being taken care of. I didn't get any food, but the menu itself seemed quite small. I had the White Rabbit, it was pretty strong but I enjoyed it. The presentations behind the drinks were awesome. I love the ambience of the place as well, my group enjoyed the playlist and had a great time with it. I will be coming again and again. Thank you Jekyll!

So much fun. They gave welcome aperol shots when we arrived. They will text you with your "bagel order" password to get it in. My favorite drink is the open sesame. It features Bacon infused rum. With a candied bacon garnish. My friend tried a few drinks. She really liked the whiskey blend called campfire. She had them make an old fashioned with it. Excellent service and presentation. Even the food was good. I ordered the hippo bagel. It's salmon lox with caviar and cream cheese cut into bite size pieces. Amazing delicious!

This was my first time going to this spot. I had a great time from beginning to end. The interaction with the staff was amazing. All the cocktails were delicious. The stories were a plus. And the music in the background was lit. I will go again.
