This one star is strictly for the service. First time here and extremely disappointed. We arrived a little after 12pm with no wait, few guests sitting inside. We were told that the kitchen is backed up 15-20 minutes which wasn't an issue & told to sit somewhere. We ordered a Mimosa and Chai latte which was watered down. We sat outside, waited then I decided to go inside & see if we could order yet only to see there's a line of 12-15 people deep. What the fuck? So the guy who initially talked to us I ran into and asked do I get in line or can I order with you he's like it is better to get in line and oh sorry I didn't mention this before. instead of being sorry he should have taken our order at that point or actually took our order when we entered and handed it off to the kitchen once things were manageable. Mimosa never came either, we closed out he tab & left.

Beautiful location. Highly recommend sitting outside in the back. Its scenic and relaxing. The food is great. Service is warm and quick. Glad we decided to stop by today!

What a great find. It’s not obvious from the street but there’s a super nice outdoor seating area, the menu is varied and the food is very good. Service was friendly. Only thing I didnt love was the cafe con leche, which was more like a large, weak latte. Happy with the eggs, the tostones, the little waffles, the potatoes and all else.

My favorite Colombian restaurant in Tampa. Definitely try the Paisa Bowl and the Spanish Latte. You will not regret it!

The food was excellent, but there was no communication on how things work. We were told to grab a menu, and when we sat at a table, we were told to move to another table. Nobody acknowledged us or told us where to order or anything. First-time visitors and we were very disappointed with the service. Food was stars, but service was 0

We live in Clearwater and Latin breakfasts are limited out here so we made the drive to LPCX and we were not disappointed. Pros: - Ambience, you walk in and you know what they are about. Good food and good coffee. - A varied menu - Service, we were greeted walking in, asked if we had been there before and when we said we hadn't, the cashier explained how it worked. He was very nice while we ordered as well. - Our food was delicious. We had the quinoa calentado which had beans in it, I loved it. The eggs were cooked well, the ham was delicious and I'm always happy when my meal comes with maduros Cons: - None, can't wait to go back and sit on the patio

I went to LPCX Cafe for the first time in years yesterday. I went several years ago, and I didn't love it or have a good experience. However, a friend wanted to meet up here, so I figured I'd give it another go. I really enjoyed it this time around! The food was great (vegan calentado for me, sencillo for my friend). We were given very large portions that were cooked very well and reasonably priced. I will say that my friend's order came out wrong (bacon instead of potatoes), but she didn't ask them to remake it (I'm sure they would've). She didn't love the bacon, but she did really like everything else. We both got lattes (chai for her, matcha w/ no sweetener for me), and they were delicious. Tasted excellent. The staff was friendly when taking our order, and the food came out pretty quickly. Lots of seating, and a good space outdoors too. I definitely would recommend if you're looking for Colombian food and don't want the wait/price tag of their sister restaurant right up the street.

Amazing!! This was my second time here and I’m already excited to go back. Everything on the menu looks so delicious. I had the tostones, empanada, and chai latte. I highly recommend because everything is absolutely scrumptious. The service is also top notch — everyone there is nice and food comes out so fast.

What amazing coffee ☕️! I would say the Best in Tampa, now that Ive tasted many shops here. I ordered the cappuccino as soon as they opened. The service is some of the friendliest Ive experienced in Florida. Its located in the Columbian District area of Tampa Fl. The food looks good too, have to come back to try it. All smiles, please visit.

My 2nd favorite lunch eatery in Tampa although gaining ground on the first. Every single bite of the stew/soup was divine, and that was the absolute BEST arepa I’ve had since Boston. My café con leche was delish. Most of all, the service went above and beyond. The server even offered me a soup sample while I was looking at the menu. Thank you, Cynthia!A huge selling point for me was the beautiful, cabana-style courtyard. It’s a quiet place to meet with friends, work on one’s computer, and I can picture a band getting a party going. Note: it’s a lunch place that closes at 3 pm. That said, I think they’re getting their liquor license soon. I would love to get drinks there on a Friday night. The whole neighborhood is up-and-coming, and LPCX Café is leasing the way.
