La Casa Della Pasta fell significantly short of expectations, particularly disappointing given it was Valentine's Day. The main courses were served cold, with a lackluster presentation that left much to be desired. The dining experience was further marred by erratic service, characterized by a revolving door of servers, which disrupted the meal's flow. Desserts, while aiming to impress, tipped the scale towards overly sweet, failing to provide a balanced end to the meal. Additionally, the rushed atmosphere detracted from the romantic setting one would expect on such a special occasion. Overall, La Casa Della Pasta did not live up to the hopes of a memorable Valentine's Day dinner. Food unfortunately fell short of expectations didn't even take pictures at the table, this was the left overs after one day in the fridge as well it was unappealing to the eye and inedible

The food was amazing, the servers were all cute little waitresses, and the look of the place fit the authenticity of the food, extremely good tasting food, the price is a little high for the average little Italian restaurant but when you bite into the food you know why, high quality ingredients from Italy! Over all really happy to have made it out to dinner here shout out to Franco who personally comes to your table to check on you! Loved it

First visit to Tampa and had to try this Best of the Best to see if the Italian food stacked up. Boy did it ever. Such a hole in the wall vibe making it feel even more authentic to Italy. Calamari - lessons should be given to everyone else on making it this way. Every dish our family of four raved about and we all sampled each others and agreed with the amazingness. Pricey but worth it from calamari to pasta dishes to chocolate cake and cappuccinos.

This restaurant is absolutely delicious!!! We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and all of the dishes we ordered were incredible. The place is very cozy with an elegant touch, it makes you feel at home. The service was excellent, we were 13 and the food arrived at the same time for everyone and was hot. They were always attentive and checking on us to make sure we have everything we needed. I must say, our reservation was at 8:30 pm and when we arrived they kindly told us that we had to order quickly because the kitchen closed at 9, it seemed a little illogical to let so many people make a reservation at 8:30 to close the kitchen 30 minutes later, however they never rushed us, the service was incredible and as I said before the food came out super fast, hot and delicious. We finished with tiramisu and wow it was delicious, it felt homemade. Without a doubt I would return to this restaurant. PS: It is essential to make a reservation in advance because this restaurant is almost always full.

It's never a good sign when the first thing they bring to your table is bread, and the bread is stale. The dipping olive oil however was delicious. My Caesar, which the website claims includes anchovies...had no anchovies. And speaking of the website, it's hopelessly out of date. Prices on the hardcopy menu they pass out are about 10% higher than the website pricing. This needs to be fixed. Had I been paying I would have protested. I ordered the tortellini which supposedly is filled with beef...but the alleged beef was tasteless, if there at all. The tortellini, in a rich sauce of four cheeses, is good...but after the third bite or so it becomes monotonous. Less tortellini with a side of a tart foil of greens would be a big improvement. For $26 I'm sure this is doable. Service was good. The decor? Eh... In sum this is a second-rate Italian restaurant that gets rave reviews because it's in Tampa. Enough said.

Came to celebrate a friend's birthday and also ended up celebrating the food, even tho I couldn't order the whole menu (I wanted to) I got to try a few different dishes that my friends ordered, while the pastas and lasagna had a very authentic italian flavor, I wouldn't say it is the same case for the appetizers, felt a little bit basic and sort of on the frozen food side. Their attention was immaculate, I can't recall a moment of our night were someone wasn't at our table making sure everything was looking good and tasting amazing, great when you have a big table. Also even tho they close at 9:30PM, our reservation was for 8:30PM and I'm pretty sure we stayed past 10PM and never felt rushed to leave, even on our way out they were really kind saying goodbye and thank you. I will definitely come back, great place!

Absolutely Amazing Service! Family Owned Restaurant that has the most fresh-tasting food I’ve had in a while. The lasagna and fettuccine was so good and I will definitely be back to try the veal! Mara and Franco, the owners, have created a family feel restaurant with authentic italian cuisine that rivals the best italian spots in tampa such as Nabruzzi’s and Casa Cosenza and to be honest…this might be the best spot of them all.

We had a wonderful experience! Had multiple servers and all very knowledgeable of the menu + suggestions for pairings. The wine was phenomenal and reasonably priced. We met the chef and he was wonderful to chat with. This is a very high end Italian restaurant with reasonable prices! Great hidden gem.

Best Italian food in Tampa, served in a warm family-like atmosphere by happy staff! This review is being written after three consecutive Saturday night visits to La Casa Della Pasta. No "flash in the pan" first impression here. We were coming off a truly disappointing Valentines/Birthday dinner for my wife at Donatello and tried these folks the following Saturday night. How refreshing! Donatello can keep their photos of dead celebrities, the dirty carpet, collapsed cushions, overcooked seafood, misguided customers and depressing staff - never again. As stated, we came back to La Casa Della Pasta two more times and ate there just last night (3/2/2024). The space is brightly decorated and while being a nice size room, is not loud. You can chat with your guests easily. The wine list is extensive - each time we chose a modestly priced Columbia Valley Cabernet, Andrew Januik 2019 that was superb. The Eggplant Rolatini appetizer was delightful, reminding me of my Italian mother's manicotti but with a paper-thin eggplant wrap. We thought about ordering another, it was so creamy and tasty! Over the three visits I have had the pappardelle in a puttanesca sauce, bowties and sausage, and last night the flounder Francais. Their pasta is incredibly light and flavorful, and not once did I wish I had chosen something else. Truth be told, pappardelle makes me weak in the knees. I don't know where it has been all my life but I am a devotee of this noodle-like pasta now. Although not on the menu coupled with puttanesca sauce, they cheerfully complied with my wish to marry them. The ample amount of sausage that came with the bowtie pasta was beautifully prepared and included those lovely fragrant fennel seeds. Their flounder is battered and crisp on the edges while moist and tender within. The fish was accompanied by capers and a medley of fresh vegetables and pasta and was a sensory delight. I simply love everything I have had there. Next time we visit I have to get over my shyness and have the owner prepare the fettuccini at tableside for us. So many diners were seen enjoying it! My only regret is that we are flying home to NY today and our next reservation at La Casa Della Pasta will be months away. Thank you to the owners and staff for such wonderful service, food, and for a memorable experience - you rescued us from the dismal meal we had at Donatello and we will be back for sure!

Love this place, owners are there every time we go, always engaging with the customers, delicious food every time, authentic Italian food , great atmosphere, I like to give local businesses my support and this is just the best kept little secret!
