We have been eating a this restaurant since 2016. Never before have I had the fajitas here, but I do often eat fajitas. What was served to us today I can only describe as meat crumbs. It was like eating the broken crumbs from the bottom of a bag of chips. Because the bits of meat were so very small, it was all charred like the Cody's roadhouse that just burned to the ground. The crumbles of meat were crunchy like cracklins' not like eating a steak fajita. What made the matter worse is when I asked if this was how the typically served their steak fajitas ($20) the woman elevated her voice and snarked at me that this is how they have been made for 15 years. Truly I was only asking to determine if I was given a bad plate or if this is just not their best dish. Since Im spending my hard earned money, and customers spending money is what keeps them in business I do expect that staff can be reasonable. I wasn't asking for a new plate, I wasn't asking for the meal to be taken off the check. Just asking for my knowing. This is a restaurant. Things aren't always going to go to plan. If the staff cannot handle a simple question asked in a casual tone of voice they should not be front of house. It's a shame that we will take our business elsewhere as a result of poor service and an entitled attitude. I do not have to spend my $$ in that establishment and there are many good Mexican restaurants in our area.My son enjoyed his burritos and said they tasted good. $12.50 for 2 isn't a bad price.$3.75 for a beverage thar was never refilled is ridiculous.In this day and age where businesses are raising prices and reducing what you get for your money, my response will be to carefully curate where I spend, as well as the likely hood of second changes being small.

They moved from Sheldon Rd to Memorial Ave which is about a 3 minute difference. They are family owned, very friendly, clean, great atmosphere and the food is the best Mexican in Tampa.

We have stopped 2x for lunch (open after 1:00 pm) in the last week. Love the atmosphere inside. The service is great, the prices are very reasonable, and most importantly the food is excellent. We are from Las Vegas and have had a hard time finding good authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. I love the Chile rellenos and my wife loves the taco and tostada. The complimentary chips and salsa are also excellent!

They moved into this nice place now the place is amazing. I love it. The food like always is amazing. The waitresses are so sweet, which is a family owned restaurant which are the daughters of the owners. I love to go there because I always feel so warm and welcome and they always make me laugh and the food is always amazing. I love my steak nachos comes with onions, avocado, white cheese my favorite dish. The place is always clean, which is very important to me. so if you’re looking for a nice Mexican restaurant, I totally recommend this one. I don’t give five stars easily and they are well deserved. They are hard-working people and they really care about their clients.
If you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for tacos and drinks . I rather go gey steak an lobster for that much .Parking: You got to park way out back.

I attempted to eat here today, 02/27/24, when I was denied access because of my service animal. The owner came out of the hair salon next door and asked to see my "card" which if you know anything about service dogs is not a real thing. Then said that my dog must have a "jacket" meaning vest on. He does in fact wear a red vest but because his vest does not say "do not pet, service dog" we were not admitted. When we explained that what she was requesting was not the law she then explained that this ADA law does not apply to her because she is not from America, though her restaurant is an American restaurant whether it serves Mexican food or not. One of the workers inside the restaurant talking to the other person in my party explained to the host (the owners daughter) that they, the workers, were in the wrong and that they cannot legally deny a person due to a service dog. When we pulled up the law and explained they could be fined thousands of dollars they still did not listen even when the law was readable in front of them. So disappointed, as a business owner you should know the law. While I don't expect the owner to know every law when it is presented to them I would hope them reasonable enough to understand. Sadly won't be returning due to the treatment and ignorance of the owner and staff.
