I decided to give Mekenitas a try after first visiting them almost 5 years ago. I wasn't very impressed then and was definitely not impressed this time. The food was nothing to write home about. My burrito was cold on the inside and I had to wait about 10 mins to catch anyone's attention to get it warmed up. It came back warmer but not hot, like I would expect. I also got the incorrect check at the end of my meal. The staff was very nice and kind and this might be their only saving grace.The place was rather empty for a Saturday afternoon. All in all, I will not be going back.

The prices on menu in google map photos are very old and misleading . Actual prices on menu are very high for this type of restaurant with shabby neighborhood. Drink had ton of ice in it. I read review that prices are low. Why would anyone put such review ? So I am attaching receipt so u can take ur own callFood dishes are limited. Ambience was average. Food was ok. Service was not parI requested server to give room temperature water for my 4 yrs old suffering from cold. She said water from tap was cold. So i said if she could microwave glass of water but she didn’t bother to listen. Fortunately we had waterbottle in car
