Great spot for business dinners or date nights. Truthfully I was drawn in by the building because it looks so intriguing from the outside and I was just as impressed once we were inside. It isn’t too loud in there so if going for business or on a date night you can converse without having to strain to hear one another. The staff were all friendly and attentive. ??The preparation and presentation fully reflected the care that’s put into curating the Olivia experience.We had filet mignon, scallops, mushroom risotto, pasta, tomato and burrata, charcuterie, and the MUST HAVE garlic bread and enjoyed all of it! I imagine their cocktails must be good if you’re going for drinks because our non-alcohol cocktails were delicious (*this is a big plus for us because we don’t consume alcohol but we do love flavorful beverages when we’re dining*). ?

Excellent food and great table service. Waiter was excellent. I would have given 5 stars overall and 5 stars for service but the reason I gave 3 stars for service is the four 20-ish year olds at the front of the house who were a joke. Not sure why a restaurant of this caliber would put 4 incompetent girls at the front of the house who are more interested in talking to each about their boyfriends than properly taking care of customers. When we arrived for our reservation we were told that they were getting the table ready. Sure no problem. 15 minutes later I finally asked what was going on after watching them doing nothing other than joking and giggling with each other for 10 minutes. Then immediately after I raised the issue our table was ‘ready’ and they tried to sit us at a mini size bar table in the front of the restaurant to the right of the bar when I made the reservation weeks before. The other issue which is really what pissed me off was that those tables were empty from the first minute we got there. So we waited there for 15 minutes when the table they tried to sit us at was empty the whole time. I was super pissed off and asked for the manager who immediately rectified the issue and sat us at a nice table within the restaurant. Management should really re-think the concept of putting four albeit attractive young women with no real front of the house experience to manage guest seating. 5 stars for food and service. 1 star for inexperienced young girls running the front of the house. Suggestion: Hire an adult to greet and seat customers.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free fettuccine and penne as well as GF pizza crust.
10/10 place food service and atmosphere! Shawn took care of us and he was amazing and friendly. We liked his recommendations. Bruschetts must order! Fritto misto is amazing especially that aioli? desserts were delicious as well Come try!!!!

Service is wonderful and the homemade pasta is exceptional. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the 15% autograt. I have no problem with autograts, I just feel like it should be 18-20% or nothing at all, the service staff deserves better than a subpar tip!

Food is great! Definitely one of the top 5 best Italian restaurants in the tampabay area! I gave them a 4 star for atmosphere because it a little loud.also they charge a 15% service charge added to your bill,not including tip.I think they should have just raised prices a bit.i am in the service business also that's what I did for cost of goods going up and no one seems to notice.but definitely should be on your restaurant list.
Enjoyed our second brunch at Olivia this weekend! The food is wonderful, the cocktail menu is fun and the service is top notch. Our server David paid attention to every detail and you can tell the staff enjoys working with each other! Absolutely terrible experience. Me and my gf ordered the truffle fries and garlic bread for an appetizer. After waiting 20 minutes we received Cold Fries and garlic bread that was dripping in grease. Both of our stomachs hurt after eating a little bit of each. We then ordered the main courses (the broken meatball pizza and then their famous 24 hour bolognese pasta.) We then waited 35-40 more minutes before we received our main courses. The pizza was very good however their famous 24 hour Bolognese pasta was extremely bland and overall kind of gross. My stomach then began to hurt and feel queasy so we paid and rushed home. Upon arriving home, I instantly felt very ill and laid down. I then began violently throwing up and making trips to the toilet all night and was sick up until the next morning and felt very weak all day. We called and let them know of the situation and we were treated like idiots and told it was not their food that made me sick. Even though it 100% was, because i had worked out earlier that day, then had breakfast (no lunch) and felt amazing all day until I ate a small piece of their grease soaked garlic bread, a few cold truffle fries and tried their bland pasta. Upon reading more reviews they have a lengthy history of making people wait 40+ minutes for their food, treating customers poorly, skimping people on alcoholic drinks and even ignoring food allergies that has resulted in them having to contact EMS. Would not recommend this place at all, very unimpressed with the customer service especially for a place that claims to be as nice as this place.

Went to OLIVIA for a friends birthday dinner. I told the waiter I had a severe nut allergy. He reassured us that that I would be taken care of and he would point out which dishes had nuts. He did not make us aware that there were nuts in the Chichetti tower. He said it was perfectly fine. Well the red peppers had almonds stuffed in them so I was not able to see them properly and ended up consuming it. My face then started to swell, we asked the waiter and he doubled down and said the peppers didn’t have nuts then realized his mistake and went to get peppers without nuts in them. EMS was called. Fortunately enough my airway was intact and I did not need to go to the hospital, however, my stomach was then very highly upset resulting in my need to vomit. I had to leave the restaurant early, and it turns out the restaurant only comped us for our appetizer which is absolutely ridiculous considering how much pain I endured because of THEIR mistake. Do not go here if you have a serious allergy.UPDATE: The kind general manager Christopher reached out to me via my number on my reservation. Although he wasn’t there on the night we dined in, he kindly apologized, and offered a full refund. While the service was unacceptable the night of, Christopher assured me there would be steps taken to hopefully have this never happen again!
