I had my first experience at Stones Throw last night (04-23-24). I ordered a Jack & Coke along with some chicken tenders. When the bartender asked for my ID and briefly took it to the back, he returned with an rude response, stating, "Get the **** out of here before I call security."Confused and seeking clarification, I requested to speak with a supervisor. However, he refused to provide one, repeated his previous statement, and claimed my valid Florida driver's license was fake—even though I'm over 25. Despite my requests for security and a supervisor, he didn't follow through on either.While everyone can have an off day, his choice of words was uncalled for. If you happen to encounter a short white man with a generic comb-over at Stones Throw, you might want to steer clear.

I knew what to expect with a place like this when I walked up to it. The decor alone screamed "new-age hipster hangout" and the prices matched. Food on the waterside is always expensive, and these establishments tend to be all flash, little substance.However, a cocktail costing 15 dollars for four ounces of liquid in a cheap to-go cup. A 15 dollar "Korean chicken taco" that amounted to a McDonald's nugget and a Walmart salad kit wrapped in an oily tortilla with no side, and a paper boat of Ore-Ida tater tots that cost 7 on their own.It barely qualifies as food. More accurately, it was simply sustenance. If you wish to pay a lot of money for the bare minimum, then congrats! You have a new restaurant to frequent. However, if you are not independently wealthy or don't have a trust fund, then steer clear.

My class and I from Light House for the Blind went here on Tuesday and had the best experience ever. Mike was our server and he was amazing very accommodating, as well as with allergies that some other classmates have ensuring that it was all accommodated for. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time thank you Mike for making our day amazing. The food was also very very good 10/10.

Garret was amazing! great relationship advice! If he can’t solve it, you’ll get drunk and forget about it! Jeral was amazing and had a cool dragon ball tattoo! Johnny and “the guy” Alex were chill as heck! would visit again and get crazy drinks!
Every time I visit and Nicole the bartender is working always so nice and attentive making sure to ask if you need anything and always a good conversation with her. She also can make any drink you want. Stone Throw is a great outdoor place to go I highly recommend it. Keep up that great smile Nicole.
