I was there on a weekday lunch. I ordered a hot honey chicken. It tasted OK, nothing stood out. The potato tots were very greasy. The service was good. I guessed people came here for drinks and meeting up friends. If I just focus on food, there are many better options in town.

Love this place! Tried the shrimp tacos . My favorite is the martinis. The chocolate marshmallow is amazing!

The service here was impressive! The food was awesome. The bottomless mimosas were not weak like other places I've been. Our server Louie at the bar was phenomenal! Always made sure we were doing great and was so friendly to us! Definitely coming back here just because of him!!!

Amazing place to grab a quick bite, beer, and to chat with a friend. Burgers are really tasty, perfectly sized, and budget friendly given today's prices when dining out. Also, service was excellent! Kudos to server Neci for taking care of us!I would only suggest to adjust the music sound levels as it gets a bit too noisy when sitting in the outside patio. Overall, highly recommended!

Food was good, the best thing were the gourmet fries, they were like out of this world, I went on a Sunday so the got bottomless mimosas for around 15$, and they were ok for being bottomless, service was ok, she looked like she was new but tried her best, the floor was a little bit sticky which was weird cuz it looked like we were one of their first tables, food was decent price so maybe I'll try some other time those amazing gourmet fries, they are in the mall so parking is easy, maybe you'll have to walk a little if you go when the mall is packed, but overall the experience was ok.

2 Divas, 1 Crown Apple shot, 1 Corona, a fancy beer, and 2 appetizers - all under $45. Love thatService was great and so was the vibe! There was a good mix between the older and younger crowds too.

Another Saturday in Tampa .... My husband and I went to International Plaza for a late lunch not knowing exactly what we wanted. We have been to a few restaurants there and decided on Bar Louie since we have never tried it before. It was around 3:00 so Brunch and just ended. The first thing we noticed was how loud the music was especially inside (which normally doesn't bother us but I didn't feel like yelling to talk to my hubby lol) so we opted for an outside table. It was better and we love to people watch so it all worked out haha. We understood why the loud music.. one - with the restaurants being so close together it's their way of attracting customers as they walk by and two - it was the weekend and brunch. We were greeted right away and our server was very attentive the whole time we were there. To start I ordered my go to, a dirty martini and hubby had his Stella. Not the best dirty martini I have had. It was pretty watery and I would not order another one, I give it a 5/10 at best. We decided to just get a couple of apps then hit another spot. Our server recommended the spinach and artichoke dip. It was the bomb!! Hot, creamy and the perfect ratio of cheese and artichokes. The chips were also cooked perfectly. A 10/10!! We chose the Beef sliders because they sounded good and had bacon jam. I haven't had a bacon jam that I haven't liked, well until this one. It was more tangy than I would prefer and not much of a bacon flavor. I took a bite with the bun and tried it without the bun. The bun definitely made the sliders. Without the bun the meat was kinda of dry and not much flavor. I give it a 6/10. All in all on this visit I would give the restaurant an 8/10 more for service, ambiance and the spinach dip. We will go back and give it another try to see if maybe it was just a bad time with the kitchen just coming off of brunch service.

This Bar Louie location is in the International Mall in Tampa. There is a whole strip of restaurants and bars and makes for a cool location to hang out and catch a drink on the weekends. Bar Louie has a DJ on certain nights so the music is loud throughout the strip and makes for a real bar/club atmosphere. I have been to a few places on this strip and Bar Louie is definitely my fav. Although my soft taco shell was a bit too dry and lacking flavor, everything else we ordered was very good. The quesadillas and wings were on point. The drinks! Always strong and tasty. And that's what a bar is all about. Good drinks and good wings lol. So overall this is my go to in this center and always makes for a good time with friends!

I had the beef sliders and the flash fried calamari. Both were amazing ,the only issue I had with the calamari was it was a little too salty for my taste but still so good.I also had the Diva Martini and it's literally the best martini I've ever had so far

Friday night, about 8-ish, and the place is dead. We had our pick of places to sit and were not mad about that. We chose a booth. Don't. Pick a table if you go. The seats were low and the table was high. The table was chest level high. Continuing about the table itself, the booth was U shaped and the table was so big and oversized, we had to pull it out quite far, then side to side to allow us to slide in, while we got it and then pull it back towards us once we got it and set. We laughed about it, but the table ordeal should have been foresight as to leave right then. A server came over to inform us if we were wanting anything from the kitchen, it was a 40 min wait to even order food. Ummm.... Okay. We ordered drinks and waited. We were not starving so food wasn't a priority for us. Drinks arrived and they were good. A bit small for the price, but were tasty. We were allowed to order and so we asked for two appetizers. They arrived with more drinks and we were happy. Happy until the bill came. We were charged for things that we didn't order. We grabbed a manager and the bill was fixed. The whole experience was just odd. Drinks were good, snacks were great, but this is not a place I want to return to. Sad because those snacks are something I want on a regular basis.

Great food, calamari is always fire. Fries and sides are always great too. Haven't yet tried the drinks but had some great options as well as the presentation of everything was beautiful. The service however was awful. My order was incorrect and the "seat yourself" thing they have going on is for sure ruining this place. Step up the service and I bet this place would be crazy busy.

Definitely check out their happy hour! They have some appetizers half off and great drink menu. The beef sliders were the !!! Who knew so much flavor could be packed in suck a small package. Service was good as well but we went on a Thursday and they weren't busy not sure how it is on the weekends. My only complaint was the loudness of the music as you have to yell to talk to people at your table. Definitely hard to carry on a conversation.

This is a cool little spot at University mall! Never realized it was there, due to it being sandwiched in between cheesecake factory and Rocco's Tacos. Food and service were solid! The burgers were cooked well and the menu had a nice variety. They have a happy hour during lunch which is always a plus! I believe that's why I went to begin with! Prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants. The only downside, was that it was freezing in there! That's not gonna stop me from going back though

There's a reason this cool Bay Street bar & eatery has been around for years at International Plaza, while much more celebrated venues have come & gone. The craft cocktails are unique, flavorful, yet not overpowering. The food is fresh, hot when required, cold when required, & served promptly. The layout & vibe of the facility is spacious & urban. Yes, they have ample big screen televisions for watching sports, but there isn't that dingy sports bar feel, & gaggles of guys with mullets guzzling pitchers of Bud Lites. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked & presented at Bar Louie. From the thick, hot, & juicy salmon sliders, to the crisp, cold, & scrumptious charred lemon Caesar Salad, with large chunks of grilled chicken added to make it the best Caesar Salad I have had in years. Even their French fries are made to order & so piping hot when served at your table, you have to let them cool a couple of minutes before eating, & when you do they are snapping crisp on the outside & fluffy hot on the inside. Also their side dipping sauces are awesome. I could have just eaten their French fries & Bavarian pretzel appetizers & drank their Kiwi & T(delicious & refreshing gin cocktail), & Second Wind craft cocktail(a vodka, coffee, & chocolate taste sensation), & been totally satisfied. Add to this delicious & fun dining experience, our incredibly friendly, sweet, prompt, courteous, engaging, & lovely server "Briy" to our time at Bar Louie, & that makes this the most surprisingly pleasurable dining experience on Bay Street I have ever had.

The bartenders here rock the house!! The are very attentive, and want you to have a great time. The fact that they are all gorgeous doesn't hurt!! Morgan is not gorgeous, but he is an awesome bartender!!
